About this ebook

Here at Remington, many people are curious about this powerful book commonly known as Inspiring the Youth of America. Well, as you may know, our youth today in America are in dire need of mentorship and guidance. This book is a whole new step forward for all of us as a civilization.

For many years, and even today, young Americans wander aimlessly in a pool of confusion. They end up in meaningless careers with no past, no future, and nothing to hope for. Undoubtedly, the end result is misery and despair. The end result is poverty and surely a feeling of emptiness. Well, we at Remington, after interviewing over thirty thousand professionals, were surprised to find that many successful professionals were disgusted with vanity publications. They were disappointed with the meaningless dribble of a phone book–type registry that possibly required a magnifying glass just to read. But surprisingly enough, these professionals encouraged any use of their biography for humanitarian purposes. Undoubtedly, mentorship for our youth fell into that category. So there it was born.

Our proudest moment as publishers was laid out before us. But there was one big problem. All these people needed to be interviewed in depth, and generic biographies certainly would not inspire. So with that, we swallowed hard, and our staff got to work. Yes, it was and still is a grueling, time-consuming mission and undertaking. But in the end, as you may witness as you read this book, the content is quite spectacular and certainly worth the effort. We would also like to mention that the participants in this book also spent much time sending us information and encouraging us to make this book worthy of their efforts. Now it was up to us to uphold the dignity of these professionals and forge forward into a future where students can explore their lives with the ability to fulfill their own potentials.

With that, this book is presented to you today, and we hope that you share in our dream to build a better America from where it really matters—our youth.

Inspiring the Youth of America: A Self-Help Book of Extraordinary Biography to Inspire the New Generation.
Author

J. Alex Ficarra

Undoubtedly, growing up during the Vietnam War, Watergate, and gas shortages can have a profound effect on a child. Also being the son of immigrant parents most certainly can lead to a traumatizing clash of cultures and the understanding of right and wrong. With that being said, the Remington Company gave me the honor of a lifetime by letting me express my thoughts in unison with telling the brilliant stories of professionals around the world. As I wrote endlessly twenty-four hours a day, I realized that our world is full of hope and real promise. I realized that it wasn’t about war, ideology, and the pursuit of global domination; I realized that, in the pages of this great book, great things were about to happen, if only these stories could be made public. I realized that I had the opportunity of a lifetime by expressing the humanitarian attributes that these professionals continually made. After many years of writing, I realized that the Remington Company had a distinct and noble purpose. Perhaps if we could not change the present, we could certainly try to change our future. With that, we created our mentorship program, which gets these prolific stories out to the children. We wrote the stories with zest but never crossed the line of respect or dignity. We wished to capture the hearts of our audience and prove to them that giving was not an option but more so our duty as life forms on our planet. Today our book has a theme, “Inspiring the Youth of America.” This theme was our way of telling the world, “Let’s hold hands and prepare our children for a better life.” Today I continue to write for the registry. My life has irrevocably changed for the better. I volunteer for anything all the time. I enjoy moments of quiet and the appreciation of our environment. I read these biographies in amazement as everyone else does, and it never seems to get uneventful. Either way, I sincerely hope you enjoy these biographies and use them to strengthen your spirit and confidence about our existence as a species on this planet. I patiently wait for divine intervention in order to write my next biography and am happy to serve the brilliant members of the Remington Registry of Outstanding Professionals. —J. DEDICATION

Here at Remington listening is probably what we do best. Admiring comes next than recognition and sometimes amazement. Well after who knows how many interviews we smile ear to ear when a nominee talks about a spouse or a partner as a savior. We started thinking that maybe that is the key to success before all others. Maybe the right partner is the first thing to look for before education and career ?, maybe the Remington book Inspiring the Youth of America might take a 180° turn and commit to a publication of quality relationships. Well maybe not but it’s a thought. But either way to deny the facts would be illogical. So with this being said there’s a special person who guides the light of the Remington book. That person is our financial analyst Mara J Ficarra. Raised on Long Island Mara is absolutely one of a kind, one off! Only one then the mold was broken. When you meet Mara you start to have faith in humanity. When you meet her you wait for the dark side but it never shows itself. Mara wishes ill will on no one nowhere and never. She makes excuses for all people and disguises their shortcomings all the time. Mara is the ultimate host. She mothers everyone and why we still don’t know. She caters to all the children in the neighborhood and is often considered a daycare owner. Mara puts a fresh smile on everyday regardless of any horrible event. She walks this Earth on a cloud similar to an angel with a delicate smile and her animals nearby. Mara often resolves a problem with a type of majesty and infinite patience. She has a magic sprinkle dust that she uses when things get impossible and we often wonder how she makes things look so easy. In the end you can imagine the difficulty involved with writing thousands of explicit biographies for people across America. It takes a special person to gather the millions of facts and corlate them to perfection. It takes infinite compassion to be a great leader and undoubtedly it’s her compassion that fuels our existence.

From all of us at Remington we love you very much Mara.

    Thank you,

    The Remington Staff

Bio: Here at Remington, when we use the term The sky’s the limit, it’s usually meant as a means of encouragement. It’s usually meant to inspire. It usually refers to what life can be if you apply yourself. Well, undoubtedly, today marks a new day for all of us at Remington. Today when we use this term The sky’s the limit it‘s for real! Today we recognize a professional who not only optimizes the 21st century, he more than likely optimizes the 22nd century. Today, Remington recognizes entrepreneur and civilian astronaut Greg H. Olsen. Yes, civilian astronaut. You heard correctly. Gregory is a professional who likely made the sky’s his limit. Gregory visited the space station at his expense and experienced the thrill ride of a lifetime. This 22nd century visionary scientist spent the 80’s giving us everything from infrared technology to a host of fiber optics applications. Greg gave us National Defense and advanced medical equipment. He gave us the internet and multiple uses in regard to space science. But wait, Greg is not just an entrepreneur scientist. Greg made children his first priority. He is a mentor first and foremost. Greg spent much of his time in South Africa mentoring children. His generosity is felt on many continents where children are needy and suffer from malnutrition and lack of education. In the end, we at Remington promised inspiration. Today our book Inspiring the Youth of America blows the roof off the building with the mentor of a lifetime. With that today, Remington proudly inducts Gregory H. Olsen. We offer him our highest honor and welcome his inclusion.

Bio: Here at Remington, what started as a simple concept of networking and career recognition, exploded into a profound way of life and a mentorship program that will guide the youth of America, for perhaps hundreds of years. What started as a gathering of brilliance in every field and industry, led to a whirlwind of contribution to humanity, culture, and technology, and in this case, most importantly heart. We at Remington, after writing 60,000 biographies, have learned a great deal about wealth, skill, and creative thinking. One quality of life, Heart, we feel is untaught and certainly not part of any workbook or academic lesson. No one carries this quality better than Internationally Respected competitive swimmer and scientist, Ann Louise Onton. Yes, heart is not listed on any cold resume we know of. Not part of a 40 minute class attached to three college credits. Not recommended as a method of calculating a difficult mathematical equation. It is however, the most important tool in life,in which Ann Louise carries with her across vast distances of aquatic adventure in abundance. It’s simple, Ann Louise loves a challenge. From her earliest days, Ann Louise was not dipping her toes in the water. She took God’s gift and built a swimming legacy that spans several decades. Ann has hundreds of awards, and has participated in hundreds of swimming events. From manhattan island to the English channel, this powerhouse of human strength, is the model of mentorship that we at Remington cling to when inspiring others. Ann sets the example in our society that life is truly an adventure, and that the couch is only a place for potatoes. Today, as a senior nothing changed. Ann ventures out into the depths, and perhaps unknowingly, has changed the lives of thousands of people with every stroke. Here at Remington, it’s important to know that we are very much aware of the violence our children have exhibited the last few years. For us the answer starts with a courageous professional, who put her heart into everything she did. Maybe it starts with not a lesson in ethics or academics, but more so a lesson in pursuing a dream or a hobby or a goal. Today, Ann Louise Onton offers us all of this in one priceless breath. She offers us a way of life. She offers us the meaning of life. She offers us a benevolent 21st century, where mother nature combines with human integrity and divine inspiration. With that, we at Remington proudly present our finest participant. One that will guide our children, and speaking as parents, we really don’t see anything more important. We offer Ann Louise our highest honor, and we welcome her inclusion.

FOOTNOTES–ANN STILL SWIMS IN COMPETITION. SHE IS NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR A DIVERS SUIT. SHE QUALIFIES IN WATER LATE INTO THE COLD FALL WEATHER OF THE NORTHEAST. HER MEETS ARE GOVERNED BY STRICT GUIDELINES AND FORMIDABLE COMPETITORS.

Bio: Here at Remington in our latest book commonly known as Inspiring the Youth of America, we venture out to all walks of life to unearth the secrets of success and guidance. We travel through time and extract the lessons we have learned through the ages. We examine the evolution of mankind and reflect on the hardships and the difficult decisions made by leaders of our past and governments that put forth laws and policies to efficiently govern a growing society of thinkers. With that being said, today is a very special day here at Remington. Perhaps a moment of awakening for our youth as well as a clairvoyance of thought. Perhaps our youth need much more than inspiration. Maybe it is time for a biography to tell a tale of history that connects our current form of life in society to a long and arduous trail of trial and error. Maybe before our youth can step into a future of global peace, economic prosperity, and intellectual achievement, they need to fully understand not just the evolution of mankind but the evolution of organizing billions of people into one aristocratic society where everyone has opportunity and the basic social service to live happy and productive lives. Well this may seem pretty complicated and maybe it is. It may seem perhaps unnecessary but after writing 69,000 biographies, we at Remington certainly understand that success in life is about education and exploring the checks and balances of our past. So, on that note today we proudly recognize an authority on history. An Authority on developing nations. An authority on the recent histories and ideologies that eventually gave us something commonly known as democracy. Today we proudly recognize Mr. Orest A. Ranum. Our books sell thousands of copies because professionals like Orest spent 60 years shedding light on subjects like absolutism, feudalism and monarchies. Undoubtedly inspiring our youth is all about building a better America. Fortunately, French History is clearly explained by professionals like Orest who put forth the building blocks that lead to the things today we as Americans take for granted. Such as our constitution and our Bill of Rights. Orest, as an educator spells out the sciences of a social system. He also spells out the failures and the folk law. Orest, from as early as the mid-fifties set out to uncover the benefits and the obstacles of the push pull relationships of the dictatorships and or groups of Aristocracy. Orest unfolded methods used to bring about free economic commerce in a time when famine and disease plagued the European frontiers. He unfolded the mysteries of a society plagued with the blind ego, greed, and civil unrest. Orest examined and dissected a moment in history that was critical in forming a basic society that needed to work on a level that would heed the benefits of 7 billion people. In the end we at Remington could simply document a professional’s work with simple dates, times and affiliations. We can spend a few minutes on a list of awards and punctuation. Instead today we proudly erect a monument and a lesson for our readers that would make King Louie very proud. We inspire the youth and leaders of tomorrow by insisting that this pinnacle moment in French History was where mankind spread the wealth to the masses and drove out the need for slavery and unfair practices of employment. In the end we thank professionals like Orest who made us stop and look at a moment in time that surely defines us as a species and defines the difficulty of taming a planet. Today we at Remington recognize Mr. Orest A. Ranum. We thank him for taking time out of his schedule to enlighten all of us and provide mentorship to many of us who need it badly. We offer him our highest honor and welcome his inclusion.

Bio: Here at Remington as Americans every breath we take is built on our beliefs and constitutional rights as citizens. We are all children of democracy, and as we pursue our dreams, enjoy our liberties, we become naturally defensive when we feel our freedoms are being compromised. Here at Remington we have learned that many Americans never take their freedom for granted. We have learned that true success is not about wealth, but about integrity and fighting for what you believe in. We also feel that true democracy is based on transparent government and undoubtedly without the vigilant effort of certain professionals that transparency can be easily exploited. Today, we stand strong against the wind and not unlike the American Eagle we hope to recognize a professional who stands on a mountain top and watches over what our forefathers died to give us. In every way and without hesitation we recognize Christopher Michael Vichiola as that eagle that soars fearlessly through the sky and with relentless tenacity spearheads any threat to our way of life. Chris gives new meaning to the word, proactive. Being passive is simply not part of his nature. Chris is not a revolutionary; he is a loyal and patriotic individual that despises political hypocrisy. His focus starts with children and people with mental health issues. Chris is an expert on Constitutional Law. He is an advisor to Barack Obama on a host of issues, a list far too long to record, but we will certainly make an attempt. Chris is a spiritual man with a soft side for human rights. He speaks out for the oppressed and is an advocate for anyone with just cause that feels exploited or neglected. Today, Mr. Vichiola is much like a walking encyclopedia, he can turn back the pages 50 to 100 years ago and give exact details about a moment in history where a crime was committed or a scandal. From environmental issues, to bureaucracy, to international affairs, Chris is not one to quickly run to a history book. He prides himself in having facts and dates memorized. From Watergate, to BP oil spills, to Iran Contra, Exxon Valdez, to unjustified presidential pardons; Chris can quote verses and specifics. Mr. Vichiola is also an expert in Finance and Financial Safety and fraud. He spends an incredible amount to time looking at all the possibilities of national health care. Chris is also best known to give exact financial and census facts no matter how ugly the number may be. He is a regular on the steps of Congress and Marches for causes nationwide. But nothing infuriates Mr Vichiola more than a large Corporate Conglomerate that abuses their employees, citizens or not. Chris is a one man union representative with powerful connections and deep consciousness to not let things slide by. As a martial arts expert, educator, and Psychological Counselor, Chris lives by a certain truth not only to others but to himself. He encourages every American to live by the same standard. Chris most of all expects a certain level of ethics, from Government Officials. He is a member of dozens of watch dog affiliations such as the Whistleblowers of America. No, Mr. Vichiola does not wear a cape, but he rightfully should. Here at Remington, Mr. Vichiola certainly raised the bar when it comes to outstanding professionals. In all truthfulness, perhaps a bar higher than anyone can reach. But, maybe in the end that’s what all of us as Americans really need, a jolt in our complacency. Chris lives by the motto Ask Not and we admire his tenacity. We here at Remington would like to mention this one biography used much of our time and resources as a company, but in many ways it was certainly our privileged and our obligation. We come to realize that Mr. Vichiola is a man of fierce conviction. Perhaps, someone like his comes around once in every thousand years or so, and we are very happy he is with us in the here and now as we welcome his inclusion. This 2015 year has been no different for Mr.Vichiola. He has been asked to be involved by the President in the Iran Deal, has participated in legislations to protect women’s rights, was involved in many other political programs like the one he will be attending later this year in which he was asked by Al Gore to participate in the Climate Reality Program which is a non-profit organization involved in education and advocacy related to climate change. Mr. Vichiola prides himself in putting his life on the line to help people and to protect the environment he is so fond of and we here at Remington continue to admire Mr. Vichiola and all his endeavors.

Bio: Here at Remington after 60,000 biographies written to date, perhaps our strongest message to the youth of America and other professionals is not where to pursue a rewarding career but how. After so much time and effort perhaps its not what you do but more so how far you are willing to go to achieve it. Maybe in the end it seems our real message to others is that life must be fully lived and all the rewards in life are only the aftermath of a diligent effort to make every moment count. With that being said today we offer a true example of a professional who enlightened every darkened corner of life and filled every heart with a joyous occasion of symphonic and majestic beauty, internationally respected Music Director, Educator Elizabeth Grieger Wiegand. Elizabeth has certainly struck every note when it comes to a fully lived life. Touring Europe Elizabeth plays several instruments. She works with children around the world and today inspires thousands as she travels to churches around our nation as an organist. Elizabeth has been featured in multiple books and media. She has worked on recordings as well as being highly recognized as a composer. Elizabeth has been awarded on multiple levels of government and corporate America. From George Bush to Lee Iacocca, Elizabeth made her way to the hearts of millions. Elizabeth speaks out on many levels of environmental protection. She works to raise money for various charities and most notable received recognition for her work with cystic fibrosis. As educator of the year Elizabeth made mentorship a big part of her life with over 8,000 volunteer hours at Franciscan Health St. Anthony Michigan City. Undoubtedly her community has been foremost on her mind. In the end we at Remington certainly are overwhelmed at the very least of this dynamo of humanitarian contribution. We truly admit that our brief description of this whirlwind life of song, travel and genuine human compassion towards others falls far short of the total package. But as we said perhaps Elizabeth offers much more than an incredible list of credentials and achievement. Maybe she represents the ultimate message of commitment and dedication. Maybe it’s not what she does but how she does it. Elizabeth most certainly does everything 110%. She goes all out all the time in everything she does. As far as we are concerned here at Remington, Elizabeth has offered all of us a priceless message that we should carry with our journey throughout life everyday. We offer her our highest honor, we thank her for her participation and we welcome her inclusion.

Bio: Here at Remington we realize that everything we do as a species going forward in our new Milena requires the knowledge and sciences to accompany us along the way. From space travel to disease prevention to environment issues. We as a life form need to build our future from the simplest forms of biology to the complexities of our organs. Today as we write thousands of biographies we realize that many dedicated professionals put themselves under enormous pressures over a period of decades. These researchers and scientist collaborate and coalesce years of findings and hopefully the end result will be watching a child escape the confines of a wheel chair. Today we are not seeking political glory or marching in a parade. Instead we are sitting in a laboratory with thousands of equations and the results that lead to some definite conclusions. We recognize highly awarded doctor and hematologist Maud Bertoni and on this day in May 2012 we respectfully and officially award her with our Lifetime Achievement Award. There are few doctors in our nation that have the expertise in hematology that Dr. Maud Bertoni has. Simply put Dr. Bertoni is one of our nation’s finest healthcare professionals. Dr. Bertoni is sought after internationally for consultation and advice. She is frequently quoted in journals and publications of all types. With transferable illnesses at epidemic proportions it’s the efforts of brilliant professionals like Maud that we all rely on for safety in our blood bank. Maud has a staggering list of daily responsibilities. Every measure she takes can mean life or death. Dr. Bertoni has built her career on being detail-oriented and thorough. She has continuously demonstrated an uncommon dedication and for that she has been awarded on many occasions. Dr. Bertoni has set a standard of reliability and devotion we all admire. She has saved countless lives and her contribution to humanity is incalculable. At this point we welcome Dr. Bertoni to the registry and are honored to announce her inclusion.

Bio: Here at Remington building a better future for America is a common goal for all successful professionals in this book. Global peace, ending poverty and disease, advancement in technologies and a basic evolution of benevolence seems to be a common denominator for all inductees. But most important, each individual we interview seems to pursue the truth about mankind and our ultimate purpose, our destiny and our past. They pursue the truth anyway they can, usually in the realm of their own occupation or abilities. They lecture, write books, do surveys, they study famous philosophers, research various sciences, study psychology and of course study all history. In the end maybe, we at Remington uncovered the easiest way of understanding mankind. No, maybe not in fossils or sacred scrolls, maybe just the truth is simply in the chemical makeup of who we are. Maybe the journey of mankind can be categorized by the very elements of the periodic table from which we are made up of. Maybe in the end the chemistry from a simple background of forensics can decipher the code of existence. With that, today Remington Recognizes fifty plus year chemist Gordon A. Parker. Breath Deep! This is not fantasy. Gordon has analyzed and pioneered new sciences and the meanings behind our chemical makeup. Molybdenite. A mineral similar to lead happens to be a basic nutrient imperative to the breakdown of amino acids, yes, our bodies are full of unusual elements that work harmoniously together, Gordon’s biography is the ultimate testimonial that mankind’s existence might very well be best unraveled through the methods of chemistry in a laboratory. Gordon’s biography brings awareness that human chemistry is a worthy pursuit for any student. He brings awareness to the fact that nutrition may be more important than space travel or advanced technologies. In the end you picked up this wonderful book Inspiring the youth of America. No, not a boring book of resumes. A book that ignited your life and your future. A book that set you on a path of knowledge. A book that made you realize that success had a powerful meaning with nothing to do with greed or wealth. On that note today, we proudly induct Gordon A. Parker. We offer him our highest honor and welcome his inclusion.

Bio: Here at Remington most of these biographies are written through the eyes of a parent and circumstantial many of them get special treatment when children are involved. After a decade of publishing and 20000 biographies the word accomplishment may have a much different meaning other than a cold list of achievement. The word accomplishment stands for the lives touched and the dreams fulfilled. The word accomplishment means global coalescence and cultural awareness. The word accomplishment means our children walk hand in hand
