About this ebook

I wrote this book to inform Gods people of His ways of processing and changing us. He does it through the inner working of the Holy Spirit and through His fire. Gods people dont understand His internal workings. He said in Mal. 3:24 he would send His messenger and refine us as silver and gold, talking about His people. The messenger was Jesus.

Jesus said He would baptize us with the Holy Ghost and fire. He was talking about purging our sins and purifying us of them. The fire of God, through the inner working of the Holy Spirit, burns the sin up and delivers us, if we repent and confess them and cooperate with His internal workings. Too many times, Gods people dont understand this process of change. I go into detail in the book to explain. Gods not trying to hurt us, just change us, and too many times we dont understand it. I pray you get a better understanding after you have read this book.

O ur God is a consuming fire, Heb. (12:29). The church and a lot of Christians today, don’t understand God’s fire; it’s his process and way of changing us. The refiner’s fire purifies, in the natural, and also in the spirit. Malachi (3:1- 4), says; but who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth, for he is like a refiners fire, and like fullers’ soap. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. In verse one He said He would send His messenger to do this, who was Jesus.

This is God’s way of transforming us and changing us back into his image and likeness again, because of sin. When you refine silver or gold, it is to remove the dross, the impurities in it. The definition of dross is an impurity that forms on the surface of molten metal. Silver and gold has to be refined in the fire, the hotter the fire, the purer the metal. You can only refine the silver and gold so many times, and it won’t purify any more. In Malachi chapter three he said he would refine us as silver, and purify us, then purge us as silver and gold. In Psalms (66:10) he said for thou O God, hast proved us; thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Prov. (25:4) says take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer. Today we are the vessels that He is refining, by His inward fire of the Holy Spirit. The inward fire of the Holy Spirit is refining us, purifying us. We need to cooperate with the refiner’s fire; it’s refining us to change us back from image to image, and glory to glory, back unto God’s image and likeness again, 2 Cor. (3:18). Remember before the fall of man, man was innocent and holy and pure like God Almighty.

Christians say all the time; purify me God to be like you. But when the fire is turned up in their lives, and things in their lives surface, and come out, it’s because the fire is causing the dross, the sin and things in their lives that’s not good for them to surface, come out so they can see it, and deal with it, and ask God to burn it up and out of their life. In the natural garbage is taken to the incinerator and burned up. The Holy Ghost fire is like an incinerator, burning up the garbage and trash in our lives, if we let Him. It’s your job to be a garbage man and dispose of trash and sin, because we are priests and Kings unto our God, Rev. (1:6), and the priests job was to sacrifice for sin, put it on the fire, and today we put it in the Holy Ghost fire, to be burned up, that’s our part and job, His is to get rid of it, and dispose of it for good. When bad things surface in your life, it’s the Lord letting it surface; to show you it’s there. The fire produces light, so you can see it. Sometimes there are things hidden in us that dwells in darkness, and were blinded to it, can’t see it. God is light and the sin in us, the Holy Spirits fire, which produces light, will cause it to manifest and surface so we can see it, and deal with it, Luke (12:2), for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; neither hidden that shall not be known. You see you can’t hide sin for long.

Part of the Holy Spirit’s job is to convict you of sin, John (16:8, 9). The bible says in Num. (32:23) be sure to know, if you sin against the Lord your God, your sins will find you out. He lets the sin in our life surface, because if we don’t get rid of it, it could eventually hurt or destroy us, Rom. (6:23), the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ. Gods not against you, the sin and the devil are. He doesn’t let it happen to hurt you or condemn you, but that you acknowledge it, before it does. Don’t get mad at yourself when it surfaces. Just repent of it, and ask God to cleanse you of it, and take it away. The fire of the Holy Spirit will burn the dross, the sin away and deliver you. The Lord lets it surface to show you it’s there, and gives you the option to repent of it, get rid of it, so let the Holy Spirit do His job and burn it up and out. It’s the little foxes that spoil the vine, Song of Solomon (2:15). It’s the little foxes, sins, that rob us from Gods best and presence in our lives.’ We take care of major sins in our lives usually, and acknowledge them and confess them and repent of them, but we let the little foxes add up, and pile up in our lives. After a while, the little foxes, sins, mount up to be a mountain. We need to address sin no matter how great or small, and repent, and get rid of it, because it hinders our walk with God, and maturing in the Spirit, and grieves Him. Don’t over look the small sin, take care of it, confess it, repent of it, and let the Holy Spirit burn it up and out, that’s what the Holy Spirits fire is for, refining us, purifying us.

Don’t fight the fire of God, let him do His job. If things surface in your life, it’s the fire of God exposing it, so you can deal with it, to get rid of it, so you can go on, and grow on, and move on with God, amen. The fire of God within us produces the light, and exposes those things in darkness that’s hidden, Luke (12:2), Matt. (6:22, 23). If you don’t deal with it and repent, and get rid of it, which is the Holy Spirits job to burn it up, you will never get victory over what’s holding you back with and from God. The bible says in Rom. (8:31), if God be for us, who can be against us? Our sins are against us, and separate us, if we don’t repent and confess them, and turn from them, Rom. (6:23), for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We’re to forsake sin and get rid of it, or it might get rid of us, do not retain it. It’s the small foxes that eat the fruit of the vine. It’s the devil that wants to eat your good fruit. The bible says in Gal. (5:22; 23) talks about the different fruits of the Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. These are the attributes, the fruits, character and nature of God Himself.

That’s what the Lord is trying to produce in us again, because we lost that in the fall, His holy character and nature. The Holy Spirit is trying to produce that in us again, if we let Him, and yield to His holy working in us, the work of regeneration, Titus (3:5), not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Remember what happened to Adam and Eve in the beginning in the Garden of Eden in Gen. (2:17), but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. Gen. (3:6), and when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her: and he did eat. Gen (3:11, 12) now they hid themselves from the Lord because they knew they were naked, and tried to cover it up, and hide their nakedness, but God saw right through those fig leaves, they ate of the forbidden fruit, causing them to sin, and the Lord knew it. Isn’t that what a lot of people still do today, just like Adam and Eve, we cover the sin up, and hide it, just like them? We’re no different, sins still sin. The devil tricked them to eat the bad forbidden fruit, causing them
