About this ebook

God is the creator of all life. God is supernatural, a spirit. He created the heavens and earth. Theres nothing hard for God. In this book I show Gods mercy and goodness toward mankind, his love toward us. The Lord has always met his peoples needs, a lot of times supernaturally. All we have to do is believe God and his Word. God can do anything: raise the dead, heal, bless, meet needs whatever they are. We have to understand that God loves us, and wants to bless us. In John 14:12, the Bible says that the works that Jesus did, believers will do also, only they will be greater works because the greater Onethe Holy Spiritlives within us and does them through us, as we yield to him and let him use us. God is looking for people to use in these last days, people who will believe him and his Word. In this book I tell how to get hold of God, and what to do to prepare yourself to be used by him. The Lord has always used peopleit might as well be you. I tell you how, according to the Word of God. God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.

I have been a minister for twenty-five years in Louisville, Kentucky. I have pastured a couple of churches, evangelized some, been to India two times and to Mexico, and I have witnessed lots of salvations during crusades. I am a former drug addict and dealer; I once worked for the mob. God called me into the ministry supernaturally.

G od still saves’ heals and delivers. God is still in control of the universe. In Malachi (3:6) it says I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed, Heb. (13:8), Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. The Lord never changes, He’s always the same. His standards are always the same. His ways are always the same. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life John (14:6). His ways are Holy, His standards are Holy, and without holiness, we cannot please God, 2 Cor. (6:14-18). Matt. (6:33), but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. You see a lot of times the Lord uses people, to reach others for him, or to pray for them, and to minister to them, In Matt. (20:28) Jesus said even as the son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. We need to do the same as he did. He gave us the power and anointing and gifts to do it with. He expects us to do the same works he did and to continue them till he comes back, John (14:12). We need to be in that place with God that we’re consecrated to Him as the bible says, 2 Tim. (2:20-22), we need to stay sanctified, Vessels of honor, meet for the masters’ use, and prepared unto every good work. You might say what are you saying preacher, I’m saying this, we need to be worded up, studied up, prayed up, and living righteous, and godly, if you want to be used of the Lord. God has always used human vessels to do his work upon the earth. You might be saying to yourself right now, what doe’s this have to do with me. God’s looking for people to use for his kingdom and glory. If you are a Christian, and you want to be used of God, Gods Holy, and we have to be Holy like him. A lot of Gods people don’t know he wants to use them.

Rom. (12:4-8), 1 Cor. Chapters 12 and 13, Matt. Chapter 25, all talk about the different offices, and gifting’s and different ministries in the church. God has given everyone some gift in the church, or gifts, for the work of the ministry, and to work in and for the church. People work a secular job, to exist, and pay your bills, and to have material things in life. If we didn’t work, we wouldn’t eat, or have clothes, or an automobile, or a home or any other luxuries in life. Most people know they have to work to get by, and have anything in life. Most people work a secular job, but never work in or for the church. That’s why God gave us gifts, to work for his kingdom, I hate to say this, but its true, as a pastor, I know first hand, that theirs a lot of lazy Christians. They don’t want to do anything, but yet they always want to be blessed. The bible says it is more blessed to give, than to receive, Acts (20:35). Everybody wants to be blessed, but not many wants to work for the church and God. In Matt.(9:37,38) Jesus said the harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few, then he went on to say, pray that the Lord of the harvest, would send laborers into his harvest, you see God needs us, he said the workers are few, God needs more workers, in the church. National statistics says that 10 to 20 percent of the people in the church carry the other 80 to 90 that doesn’t do anything, work or even pay tithes. Matt. (25:14-30), talks about people that had been given talents and gifts to use, some of them used them and some of them hid them, same today in the church, some people never work or use their gifts for the church, read what happened to these slothful lazy people. In 1 Cor. (3:4-16) Paul talks about rewards for laboring and working for the kingdom of God, in the church. In versus 12-15, Paul says our works will be tried by fire, if it’s burnt up, then it wasn’t Gods works, it was theirs. Some people won’t have any works to try, because they never did anything for God. The bible says they will be saved, but won’t have any rewards in heaven. If you have been guilty of dead works, Heb. (6:1) says to repent of dead works, and go on, and not be guilty of it again. In Rev. chapters 2 and 3, Jesus started in his message to every church, I know your works, to every church, the first thing he said is I know your works, you see, he knows if your working or not.

I’m not trying to put a guilt trip on people, but I’m trying to show you that the Lord needs you to work for him; he will even reward you in the end. This is why he gave us talents and gifts. He expects us to use them, not hide them, he expects us to continue on doing the works Jesus did, John (14:12). Jesus said the works he did, we would do also, only greater works, because he goes unto his father, it’s the holy spirits works in us and thru us, as he anoints us, and uses us. I don’t want to see any Christian turn up empty handed, when it’s all over, and they go to heaven, and don’t have any works following them. These rewards will be with you throughout eternity. Don’t come up short, start working for the kingdom, its never to late, just repent and start working for God and his church. God needs his whole body, church, to reach this world, and minister to them, he’s counting on us.

I have been a minister for over 20 years. I was saved at the end of a 38, Smith and Wesson 38 special, ready to pull the trigger. When I asked Jesus to come into my heart, after I repented of my sins, a supernatural peace came over me. That was a miracle, because I never had peace. I worked for the mob, was up on charges for selling stuff to them, could have served 400 years, also tried to kill someone. I was facing prison for that. I was a drug dealer, alcoholic, been in AA and JADAC drug center. You say why are you putting all of this in here? What does it have to do with anything, I’ll tell you, and it has everything to do with everything. God can use you, and wants to use you, but first he has to change you, like he did me. The devil tried to kill me the first month I was born, I couldn’t eat. My mom took me to a Christian lady and had me prayed for. You see I got a miracle in my first month of life. You can’t tell me Gods not in the miracle business, I know better, first hand. I had a car to fall on me, I was under it, the jack fell, I was pinned under it lying on my chest, and it almost crushed me. I screamed once, then out of air. I saw my whole life flash before me, the first thing I thought was God forgive me of my sins. Lucky for me there was some guys in the gas station talking and they heard me scream. They ran over and jacked the car back up, and pulled me out, I could hardly breathe, they rushed me to the hospital. The doctor said if the car had been on my chest for another one hundredth of a second, it would have killed me. You see, don’t tell me God doesn’t still do miracles. If it wasn’t for him, I know I would have died right then, I expected to, that was divine supernatural intervention. The reason I’m telling you these things is because I want to show you the miracles the Lord did for me, I wouldn’t be alive
