About this ebook

The Bible is as shallow as you want it to be or as deep. If it were an ocean, you could float on the surface, scuba dive or dive deep with the right equipment. I am not a theologian but, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I would like this book to open minds to a deeper perspective of God, His Kingdom and His Word in the Bible.

At age 41, having raised two children, my heart was touched by God and a whole new world was open. Up to that time, I lived my life for myself, barely aware of how I was impacting my children and other people in my life. After His touch, I first learned what I was ‘saved from’ then I became aware of other people and finally I became aware of Him. I pray for everyone to experience God like I have.

    I

was born again in 1989, and it was a supernatural experience. My focus changed from myself to God; I started reading the Bible and found a church. As a baby Christian, my first question was, Saved from what? Through the years, as I read the Bible and listened to sermons, I wrote down my way of explaining what an author of a verse was trying to say, because, I believe, Satan has successfully demonized the meaning of many words in the Bible like sin and repent.

For example, Acts 3:19 (KJV) appears to be full of condemnation if you are not born again. Paul says, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

I think this verse is saying we need to recognize that our thoughts and behaviors are different from God’s thoughts and behaviors. We need to make a decision to think and behave the way God thinks and behaves. We need to say to God that we want
