About this ebook

The Word of God, in Colossians 2:10 reads, "that we are complete in him(God) which is the Head of all principality and power:" God wants us to be made whole, hale, complete and living in shalom, however, we can only experience this wholeness by constant fellowship with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God. By applying his word to every part of you, your spirit, soul, and body you can be made whole! 1 Thessalonians 5:23 reads, "And the very God of peace sanctify wholly; and I pray your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." God is longing for you to commit to constant fellowship with him, his Spirit, and application of his word so we can live and be sanctified and preserved in shalom. It is time to live up to your full potential. You don't have to live an unfruitful life full of regrets. Total life prosperity is right in front of you. You can be made whole!

    Chapter 7—It’s Time

    Introduction

It is time for us, the body of Christ, to unlock our full potential and become all that we can be; however, there are many of us in the body of Christ who have been wounded, offended, abused, and cast aside. There are many who started out in the faith but, somehow, someway, fell prey to the snares of the enemy (Satan) and, as a result, have become ineffective members of the body. These attacks are orchestrated to distract us from our purpose. As a result, there are many Christians who simply find it difficult to align (yield) their spirit, soul, and body to God’s Word.

Over the years, I’ve realized that there are so many who have been victimized, and it seems that they are unable to recover; although our physical bodies can and, in most cases, does heal itself, there are those who still find it difficult to go on because they must undergo a healing of the soul (which consists of the mind, the will, and the emotions) and spirit (which is also referred to as the heart). Jesus asked a paralyzed man, Will you be made whole? (John 5:6) It is God’s will for us to be whole (complete), at peace, and have solace in our spirit, soul, and body.

The Bible declares in Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being my priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. There is one major point in this passage. The point of this passage is that God’s people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge not because they were not privy to it but that they have rejected the knowledge of his Word. This places some in one of two categories: either they lacked the knowledge of the Word of God through anemic teaching, or they just outright rejected the knowledge of God’s Word, his Spirit, and his presence. It is either the lack or the rejection of knowledge that Satan will exploit: the lack of knowing or the rejecting of how fearfully and wonderfully we are made; the lack of knowing or the rejecting that we are complete in him; the lack of knowing or rejecting of how to align or submit our spirit, soul, and body with the Word of God; and also not knowing or refusing the purpose God has for our lives. This has allowed the enemy to cripple and, in some cases, destroy many in the body of Christ and their families as well.

By utilizing the Word, faith, God’s Spirit (Holy Spirit), and God’s presence, we will strengthen, edify, or build up and establish ourselves as we come to the realization that we are not mere flesh and blood but we are supernatural spirit beings. We will gain a greater revelation of the God who created us in his image and likeness. This will provoke us to establish a deeper, spiritually grounded relationship with God the Father, a newfound adoration for his Son, Jesus Christ, thus causing us to establish a deeper fellowship with his Spirit. This will allow us to understand that we are complete in him, thus causing us to discover what his will is for our lives and, as a result, give our lives purpose and meaning. This will motivate us to position ourselves in God’s kingdom and once
