    The hue in hu-man

I t has been said that children learn what they live. As parent’s, I think it safe to say one of the most important things we want to witness as our children grow and even all the way through adult hood is their joy and happiness. Happiness for many people is something they think lies outside of themselves. Some think when we take the next vacation, buy a house, a car, land our dream job or find the perfect relationship we will be happy. Children do not have any of these things and yet they are happy. Children are happy for no particular reason, until they learn differently by our actions, words and deeds. Social pressure, family expectations, academic performance all contribute to shaping the child’s perception of the world and form a lens through which they view their own world. The fragile child within is often left confused. To strengthen and to nourish the child within us is as important as the air we breathe and the food we feed our bodies. Children are our future. The foundation of the next generation.

In the process of reading this book to your children my hope is you will not only provide them with tools to strengthen their essence, but that you will also discover a fun new way to reconnect and nurture your own
