She is part Cherokee Indian which enabled her art to fit well in the Indian theme of the gallery. I WALKED WITH THE ANGELS

Dreams and faraway lands surround me.

As I drift into another world.

A Band of Angels greet me with their

Beautiful Wings unfurled.

Each one came forward with an outreached hand

I eagerly put my hand in theirs

And I waited what they planned.

The Angel’s wings radiated

And their colors seeped into my soul.

Love filled my heart and absorbed me

It was the color of Gold.

The Angel of sorrow is green.

The Angel deals with the Envious and Mean.

The Angel in blue came on the scene

Together they made a good team.

Along the way was marred

With lost souls who had never cried for their God

I observed their plight and I cried at the sight

As we walked through the Garden of Life.

The next Angel waved a spray,

Smelled like lavender, it’s hard to say,

Then truth answered my questions as

Peace was my lesson.

Then the Angel of Death was in sight holding onto my gaze with such might. Fear swirled its clutches around my soul as it started to close in upon its goal. My eyes were fixated at this sight when another Angel appeared before me so bright. She reached out for my hand and pulled me up and surrounded my spirit in light.

Because I walked with the Best, I passed the test. When I walked with the Angels Last Night!

To The Four Sisters

Several years ago, my three sisters and I decided to write about whatever interested each one of us personally. Our maiden name is Hall. There were eight of us. There were four brothers, all who have died before us, except Raymond who is our youngest brother. Two of my sisters are divorced and two of us are married. We are called the Four Sisters.

Each one of us has our own unique and different style in our writings. We all have a lot we want to share with our children, grandchildren, our family and our friends.

Barbara Adkins has written many How to Books and she is great at researching and publishing Ancestry books. She is also a recognized artist. There is a Cherokee line in our ancestry and Barbara is known as ‘Little doe" among Indian circles.

Barbara has even found a line of royalty in our line. We haven’t let that sink in yet.

Barbara has a unique talent in which she makes these beautiful pine needle baskets and she is one of very few people left who teaches this lost art.

Sandra Moore has found herself in her love for animals and her crafts. Her books, consisting of a special doggie cook book and her children’s book on parrots is very popular. A project she is experimenting with now includes many recipes she has tried out and remembers from childhood. She also is an artist.

Joyce Timberlake is a Virginia artist who is well known as an art teacher and story teller. Her lifelong project, Whoever Heard of a Purple Happy Tree, a children’s book is about to go to press. This is a story about a little Eco tree who tries to save the environment and the world. The Happy Tree is his name. There will be many drawings and paintings included in this book. This is only one of many children stories by this popular artist and it should be published this year. When I was searching for the perfect name for my book, I consulted with my sisters on several occasions. Barbara suggested the name should have Wings in the title. Sandra, who we call Sandy, liked Spirit Wings and when I mentioned it to Joyce she told me that one time she had a chapter with Ducks Unlimited called The Whispering Wings. She was not involved with it any longer and she asked me if I wanted to use it. I said, Yes! It is perfect. Together we decided Whispering Wings represented what I had been shown and this name could describe the book better than any other name.

As for me, I go by Carol Wright, and for years my family and I have been involved in a business which takes most of my time. I always thought as I get older I would have more time for myself, but it doesn’t work that way, the older I get the busier I get. All I know is before I experienced this walk with GOD I had searched for years for my purpose in life and GOD
