When I close my eyes to this life and open them to another ……what would I see? How would I describe what I see and how would I feel? What would I feel? Would I be afraid, scared? Lost? Would I panic? Would I scream in terror, covering my mouth with my hand to suppress the fear that has gripped my mind. Would I be afraid of the unknown? In one moment, a twinkle of the eye, would I shudder in fear of what I don't know? In a split second of time would I be afraid of what was around the corner?
In the time before this, I knew what I believed and who I believed in. But now I have this ghostly disturbed feeling prowling behind me. In a split second, like a brief flash of light in a dark room, I am afraid. Fear gripped me so tightly that my very breath disappeared and I was gasping for air.

ETERNITY PRESENT - CHERYL’S STORY

As I lay across my bed and close my eyes I fall into a deep sleep. I am startled by the dream that I don’t comprehend and I am awakened. My heart is racing and I am sweating profusely into a cold sweat. My hands are wringing wet from sweat and I am grasping for what I know to be real. I jump out of bed to get a glass of water to calm me down. Once calm, I went back to my room, got in the bed, pulled the blanket over my head, and went back to sleep.

The dream continues when I fall asleep. As I opened my eyes in my dream, I see an unfamiliar and strange place. What do I see? I can’t begin to describe this eerie place. What do I see? I am afraid! I am scared! I feel the scream rising up inside of me, gripping me with fear! I scream in terror, covering my mouth with my hand to suppress the very sound that has gripped my mind. In one moment, a twinkle of the eye, I shudder in fear of the unknown. In a split second of time I am scared to death of what I am about to see.

But now I have this eerie, troubled feeling lurking around me. In a moment, there is this transitory flash of light that glows, the light becomes luminous, brilliant light all around me. Fear grips me so tight that my very breath disappears and I am gasping for air. But there is no air. There is no wind or breeze I could feel on my face. There is only a stillness; nothing I could touch or feel, everything
