DEDICATION
I dedicate this book to my Pastor, Bishop Noel Jones, who always encouraged me to continue moving forward even in the face of adversity. With his persistent words of expectation and deliverance, I stayed the course and completed this book.
A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR
Hallelujah! God is a Great God. I love Him. He is my rock. Who would believe that the last book was just a precursor to a second? I just knew I would do my biography. Well, God is the Author and the Finisher of my life. His will, will be done.
My last book, "Jesus Is Coming—Soon, Are You Rapture Ready?" by Pastor Ikona Abukar, was concerning our readiness for the Rapture. This book," Jesus Is Coming Soon, Book II Are you Walking in Wisdom?" by Pastor Ikona Abukar (Ambassador Dr. Thompsene Ikona Abukar, CDKA) is concentrating on Wisdom For Life. As you may well know Wisdom is the principle thing. Without it, we will be like the blind man that leads others who are also blind, into a fiery pit.
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; (therefore) get wisdom: and with all your getting, get understanding.
Of course, this book also has a variety of subject matters. All penned to cause you to think about your walk with Christ. Sometimes we get off the straight and narrow. As Christians, we know that narrow is the way.
We know that even though God calls us, few will truly find everlasting life. The Bible does say in the Old and New Testament that only 1/3 one-third of the Church will go to Heaven. WOW! Think of all those people who are just sitting in Churches today, Sunday after Sunday, praying for Jesus to return, now. Actually, I call this selfishness because they think like ‘The me, my three, and no more’ syndrome. Yes, we want Him to come back—it’s a no brainer. Think about those on the highways and byways who are lost. Aren’t we to witness to them and tell them about Jesus so that they may have the same opportunity to know Him, and His love? Jesus is coming back, at the time we know not. So, why are we concentrating on His return? Are you sure you are ready to go? Do you know Him? Is your work finished? We can’t guess that time. Wouldn’t it be better to work on what He sent you here to do, and complete it? Why take chances on decisions that last for eternity?
God sent us here to do a job for Him. Most don’t even know what that is, and many have not even started. Some are doing the jobs they aren’t prepared to do, and others are just sitting and waiting for Jesus to return. In the meantime, they are fighting others who are trying to do the Will of God. What is the point of fighting those who are earnestly trying to do what the Father has given them to do? You should be encouraging them. Everyone has a time to do His will. If you don’t have a relationship with Him, you won’t know it and will try to stop God’s New Thing. That is a dangerous place to be. When your time is up, you will go either willingly, or He will take you out. And, as one minister puts it, Who can accuse God of murder?
Usurping His authority is not wise.
So, why are you saying, Come now, Lord Jesus?
You mean you will stand there before God and try to give Him excuses as to why you have not done what He sent you to do? People like this, either do not hear from God, or just ignore the prompts. Why? Because many do not have a clue of what they’re Calling is. And, if they knew, it seems they would be about their Father’s business? There are some that may be running from their Calling. But, if you know what God has Called you to do, why would you want to leave it undone? Do you think God wants to hear your excuses? I don’t think so. One of the biggest problems that we have in the Church is many do not have a personal relationship with God. And, they do not have a clue whether they are in the right place to get ready to do what they are Called to do. Lastly, they try to speak into others’ lives as if they were God Himself (this is one of the signs of a Pharisee).
Some think that if this is something they like to do, it must be their purpose. I don’t think so. Usually, whatever you think is your Calling and it’s something you like to do, it is probably not your Calling. Callings are rarely something you like to do. Most don’t see how it can be done. And, if they try to do it their own intellect, God will not be with them. They are on their own because God will not support what He didn’t call you to do. We are servants. We cooperate with God to get the work done. God is the CEO. If you don’t have a personal relationship with God and can’t hear from Him, how did you confirm it? Yes, there are some Prophets that have that ability to tell you who you are, but what if they are wrong? Some who call themselves Prophets are False Prophets. Yes!
Many times Prophets see in part. Yeah! It is your life and your responsibility to make sure you are on the right path. God is the only one who knows for sure. Having a personal relationship with Him is paramount. Many don’t realize that they are called to go out onto the highways and byways to compel the unsaved to come to Christ. Some think they are safe and just sitting in the sanctuary waiting for the lost to come in. They could care less about those who are on the outside who need Christ, too. If you don’t reach the people God sent you to reach, they may not make it to Heaven, and their blood will on your hands. God will not have you ignorant. No relationship, no Heaven. Selah.
Luke 14:23 ²³ And the Lord said unto the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Ezekiel 3:16-21 ¹⁶ And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, ¹⁷ Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. ¹⁸ When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. ¹⁹ Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. ²⁰ Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. ²¹ Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Romans 1:13 Now, I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the Gentiles.
Many have not heard of Salvation. It is our job to tell them about the Good News. God does not wish any to go to Hell. Hell is not for Man. God sent His Son to create a way for us to return to Him because we were born in sin. And, until they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and return to God, they are on their way to Hell. And whether you believe it, or not, Hell is real and Hell is hotter than anything you have ever experienced here on earth. Just think hotter than the Sun which is about 10,000° Fahrenheit (5,500° Celsius). That is why God has anointed me to write these letters. They are to confound the wise. They are your wake up call to walk in Godliness, in His principles and His precepts. So be it, and so let it be. Amen.

LETTER 31
INSIGHT INTO ONE OF LIFE’S PROBLEMS
Consider This Story An Hors’d’Oeuure.
I have a story to tell you. When I was 29 years old, I applied for a Financial Services Supervisor’s job, in Austin, Texas. At the time, I had been a Financial Services Caseworker, in San Antonio, Texas. I worked for the Department of Welfare which later changed its name to the Department of Human Resources. I got the job.
Most thought it was because I am African-American but, based on my credentials I was a shoe-in. I was packing with 10 years of experience and the related Masters. No one else had any credentials, not even my Superior, probably not her’s, either. To put it plainly, they hated me because I am Black, came from another city, with experience, and the appropriate degrees. It was the late seventies, of course there was a Federal Mandate to hire Blacks but I was more than qualified. You know the old saying, We just have to be better.
The other applicants became disgruntle whom just happen to be the workers in my unit. None of them had a degree and most had only 2 years of college. The times didn’t help either. This was a time when many companies and agencies were looking for qualified Blacks to fill jobs to meet the Federal Mandates of Affirmative Action. Hiring practices were not always fair. Discrimination still existed then, as today. I supervised two BLACK workers, eight white workers, and one Mexican secretary. It was not that the others were not skilled; they just didn’t have the higher education. For months they would walk by my office and glare (Blacks and whites alike). I ignored it. You have to with an open-door policy. I may rethink this in my next official assignment.
I went to lunch with my Superior every day. We had a very good relationship. Then the others, satan’s group, headed by an insidious lesbian, my Worker III, got together to cause a riff in our relationship. How did they do it? By divide and conquer. My peers (other supervisors) got me in a room and surrounded me. They told me all the bad that my Superior had done and how wicked she was. Of course, what they said was not true. The point is I thought so at the time because it came from so many. I didn’t know about the devils devises, as I do now. I know now that people who don’t like each other will ban together to achieve a common goal.
Then, they went to my supervisor and tried to say, I didn’t know what I was doing. Of course, it wasn’t true but it made my supervisor suspicious. I have an A-type personality and very analytical but at that time I was new to the game, 29 years old and a novice of sorts. Soon, we didn’t go to lunch together anymore and our relationship was over. My excellent secretary went to another and I had to hire another secretary. It was hard to get my work out. Even though my old secretary was to type my work, it piled-up.
Why did I tell you this? Well, I so appreciate having that experience now because I can just set back and see all the mistakes of my juniors (those under 50). You see I have seen a lot being in one bureaucracy after another. I feel Blessed to have the insight, now. I see those who just intend to fake-it until they make it. That usually doesn’t work out, especially if you are Black. I would not advise any Black to try to fake it. You just have to be better. Thought: Maybe we should have classes for credit on how to avoid the pitfalls, or what to do when you encounter the snakes. Usually, they run in packs, like rogue dogs.
There are those who get in because they slept with the Boss. That doesn’t work either because after he sees new meat you are history. Then, there are many of those who use dirty tricks to get in the door. But, because of their character they could not stay, oh well! Of course, there are those who are part of the family or a close friend. Most, like these, just got the job because of who they knew but could not deliver. Some snakes just slither in the back door. Who’s watching the back door? I could go on but I think you got the picture.
I have noticed in several Churches that every time an anointed person comes into the Church, the Pharisees chase-them-out. Yes, I have known a few anointed vessels that left of their own accord. Most of them left because they didn’t want to fight with the mountains of demons. Isn’t it funny how the Godly thinks that satan would just allow them to waltz in and do what God has sent them to do, without a challenge? Not!
There are other situation that occur over and over again, in many churches. This one is like opening an old wound for me. It was the exact same type of incident that happened to me, in Austin, Texas. Many who are sent in to be a support to the Pastors are shipwrecked by listening to the gossip of the presiding Pharisees. I now know that this is one of satan’s oldest tricks. The enemy uses these gossipers in the ears of anyone who is stepping up into high places (such as; visiting Bishops, Pastors, Ministers, and new employees.) in the Church. The gossipers tell them this and that about their supervisor, superiors, Pastors, Bishops, and even anointed Saints they want to destroy. Many men of God have fallen for this trick and had to repent because they thought the person telling them the lies was upstanding.
Now, I see a slightly different twist however, I never thought I would ever see this anywhere else, ever again. The current employees, peers etc., telling the prospective victims (the new employees) that they were all that and a bag of chips. It causes them to grace the podium with a swelled-head. They even start saying things like, "If I were the Pastor, I wouldn’t do this or that, I would not… or I would do…! It was so apparent that they would even go as far as to make little of their Superiors/Pastors and attack them in front of thousands of his followers, at the mike. This spirit, leviathan, the demon of pride knows no gender. And, all smitten by this demon will try to accomplish a hostile takeover, even the ones who spoke in their ears. I believe this is done to get rid them because they are the competition. I thought that was for the Fortune 500 companies—not the Church! Maybe they watched too much TV. Didn’t they know that this is a Theocracy, and not a democracy?
Those ugly underhanded happenings done in the corporate world should not work in the Kingdom of God—The Church. If they belonged to Him, and had a personal relationship with Him, they would have known better. What Godly person thinks like that? Now, that is similar to political suicide but in this case becoming devil bait. It took me 27 years to figure-out what happened, in Austin, Texas. I had to call and apologize to my ex-Supervisor of that department for being so naive. Actually, mine was an apology but yours may be a confession and repentance before God. Remember: God does not respond to the wicked prayers against others. The devil does. True Saints pray for the good of people and not against them, regardless of who they are. We all belong to God and are His people. We don’t belong to man. So, He is the only one who has the right to take one out. It is important for you to be one who Blesses, and not one who curses if you want to be in God’s Grace and have His unmerited favor. No witch or warlock will go to Heaven. There is no sin in Heaven. You decide whether you will spend eternity in Heaven, or in Hell by your choices. Selah.
A Mother In Christ
LETTER 32
LOS ANGELES UNDER SEIGE—
A LOST GENERATION
The Lost Angels of Los Angeles do not honor their Mothers, or Fathers. Maybe they have a reason, or maybe not. Although there is a father problem, I am now realizing there is also an equal and just as devastating mother problem.
Now, a child may have some problems if his father, or mother is not there for him. I know the father problem is prevalent and he could be in the home, or outside of it. It is very important that quality time is shared with the son, and daughter. Quality time is one determining factor in the outcome of their lives, and their stability. There may be no father figure in the home due to incarceration, addiction, divorce, death, illness, remarriage, and there are so many other factors. Or, maybe he lives in the home but does not make himself available to his child (ren). We see this often because most men identify with their jobs and sometimes put it first before their family. When questioned about it, they usually allude the issue by saying they are working so that they can make sure they have shelter, food, clothing, etc. The real issue is avoided. This can happen when the father is a workaholic, an alcoholic, has multiple jobs, travel for a living, or has other interests outside of the home (for example: a mistress) that takes him away from his family.
This problem also knows no social-class. It can happen in the secular or Christian family. It doesn’t matter their social status, or income level. It is a matter of the morality of the father, and as a matter of fact, the mother, also. Is it just a California problem? Of course not! Regardless of where you live, this problem exists all over the U.S. and abroad. It is just more prevalent in Los Angeles, California, and more visible. It seems to be more acceptable here as a way of life. I can speculate that this conditioning comes from not just the 1960’s but the fallout of the gold rush. I know that’s a stretch. It is the evil that snowballs in a community, state, or country.
Another problem is the building of casinos in the cities which brought
