Felix Cruz is an Academic Research Specialist in New York City, New York. Felix Cruz, an education enthusiast, has been interested in the art of poetry for many years. He has published poems in the Internet on poetry websites such as www.voicesnet.com and on college newsletters. Felix was born in Puerto Rico, but was raised mostly in the Bronx, New York. His experiences both in the Caribbean island and in New York has provided a wealth of experiences for his poetry. This is his first publication and is looking to publish additional books in the future.

3 Yet One
Water, Ice, Water Vapor,
Three sides of a triangle,
Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness,
World of God, the world of the Kingdom, and the world of Creation,
Impermanence, suffering, and no-self,
Body, Soul, and Spirit,
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
Protons, neutrons, electrons,
Me, myself, and I,
Elohim, though 3 yet One,
So as we reflect on these,
It is plain to see that,
3 is yet One.
A Friend is
Worth more than rubies untold,
Always there for you in time of need,
One who looks beyond your faults and
Sees your pain without looking for gain,
The one you look for in times of trouble,
A Comforting presence, word of assurance,
An encouraging word, a helping hand,
The one who stands by you no matter what,
The one who will give you their last dollar,
The one without hypocritical thoughts or acts,
One who will never lie to you even if it hurts,
That person who will give up their life for you
Without thinking about it twice,
