CHAPTER 1
Begin to Open Your Mind
A s a child we come to this world as empty vessels, without a care in the world. We’re waited on hand and foot. We get the pleasure of getting fed, washed, cleaned, and dressed up; and if that’s not enough, we have things bought for us and so on. I guess it’s safe to say that we’ve been conditioned from birth to have our needs met. But as an infant it is justifiable because of the obvious. We were unable to perform the tasks needed in life due to physical limitations. Being new to this world, we had to learn how to sit up, crawl, go from drinking out of a bottle to eating solid baby food to feeding ourselves independently, and walk. You know, sitting back in the high chair, not caring where the food went. You had sauce all over your face, your bib, and the walls and on the floor. It never entered into your mind that you’re making a total mess and that it has to be cleaned up. You’re a toddler for God’s sake. That sort of thing has not yet been taught to you by your patient parents. You can probably see by now, as your mind begins to open, the mounting root of the vast majority of problems we face today, but we will go more in depth later. This book is comprised of random thoughts as to why we’re so underdeveloped as a people, a nation, and a world.
If you are truly and completely honest with yourself, you can see that jumping the hurdles are not as hard as we perceive them to be. I wish someone would have slapped me
