ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marjorie Elvyn Brame Bennett was born the seventh child to Walter and Rosetta Jeffreys Brame in Henderson, North Carolina, along with her twin brother, Walter Melvyn. She has been married over thirty years to her sweetheart, Robert Anthony Bennett, Jr. They have one son, Robert Anthony Bennett, III (Trey) whom they truly believe is a blessing from God. Marjorie is a graduate of North Carolina Central University where she continued her graduate studies.
As early as her high school days, she considered writing poetry, but never materialized the idea until the early 2000’s. After being stricken with arthritis and fibromyalgia, Marjorie resumed her desires to write. She is also currently working on a book about her debilitating illness.
Spiritual Thoughts to Live By is a sequel to Spiritual Thoughts from the Heart, published in October, 2008. Once Marjorie decided to do a book of 31 poems, she realized there were still thoughts in her mind that warranted sharing, so she continued to write. Her website, BrameSpiritualthoughts.com is her supplementary medium to promote her books as well as provide spiritual counseling.
Although much of her time is focused on writing, she still enjoys working in her church, her community, and going to the health spa. Her writing has forced her improvement of technology but she feels there is still so much to learn. Her horizon of friends and acquaintances have escalated tremendously as she spreads her wealth of spiritual intimacies. She loves people and the Lord. Reading God’s word gives her continued guidance in her daily walk. Her life is always inspired by Ephesians 3:20: "Now to him who is able to do
