Love Letters from God

"Love Letters From God" was given to me under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, much as a song, or a poem would come to you from the heart of God. These letters have been written from the viewpoint of God, as our Heavenly Father, and His desire to communicate the truth of His undying, passionate, love for us. The mission in the heart of God that came forth, as the Lord unfolded each letter to me, was to show us ourselves in the face of His Son, Jesus Christ, thus realizing our true identities, and fulfilling our destiny in Him. In revealing the truth of what He has done for us through this most precious gift, He skillfully revealed Himself in the light of the loving Father He is. As you read these letters ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the message of the Almighty God, who is also our loving, Heavenly Father.

The majority of the Scriptures in these letters came from the Authorized King James Version of the Bible. Other Versions used include, the New King James Version, the New International Version and the Concordant Literal New Testament. On the Scripture reference pages throughout the book, I have noted when these versions were used.

I have referred to the Strong’s Concordance and the Concordant Literal New Testament for most of the definitions. Others were given by the Holy Spirit Himself. The Greek Words for God your Father came from the Blue Letter Bible.

This book is dedicated to God, my Heavenly Father,

He has taken me by the hand and patiently taught me who He is. I am forever grateful that He sought me out and chose to reveal Himself to me in such an intimate way, as my Loving Heavenly Father. I pray that much glory is given to Him through the writing of this book, as all the credit belongs to Him.

My Husband Harlan,

Who has loved and supported me unconditionally, helping me to see myself in the face of God, my Father. He continually pointed me back to My Heavenly Father who has brought me from afar off to His loving embrace. Harlan is my hero and I am so thankful for him. He truly is a precious gift to me.

Love Letters From God is full of grace and truth, given to a beloved daughter. Please take time to relish every letter, reading them aloud as I did. They are an intimate progression of teaching and loving assurances. You will find these letters to be a treasury, bringing wonderful understanding and reality of the Father’s heart toward all His children. He reveals Himself as Father, His heart, His love, in all truth. I am so blessed, to have been chosen to offer this foreword.

Introduction

Thinking back to the birthing of this book, my mind goes to the many nights I sat in the Lord’s presence, trying to make sense of my life. Filled with self-hatred, feeling as though I had been dealt the short end of the stick in life, I always compared myself with others but never measured up to the set standard. It seemed as if I failed at every turn, making a mess of things, and I was unable to find my place in life. Living with rejection from childhood, I did not comprehend love, unsure how to give or receive it. Insecurity loomed over me as a giant, and my mind was tormented with thoughts of failure causing me to have many sleepless nights because I could not silence the fears. When I did lie down to sleep, even though I was exhausted, the tormenting thoughts were at their loudest, therefore, I lay awake night after night. It was during those times, the Lord made His presence known to me.

My relationship with God has been that of a Father, dealing with me as His daughter, at times bringing chastening, correcting, teaching, exhortation, and comfort. He was constant, unchanging and even though I knew I could depend on my Heavenly Father to guide and help me, I was not persuaded He truly loved me. In January 2003, God gave me a revelation of His love that changed my entire life. It was in the midst of turbulent circumstances He revealed that submission to His love without understanding, was true wisdom. He taught me to say, I don’t know anything about this, (meaning, what was going on around me, my present feelings, or circumstances), but one thing I know, is You God, love me right now, and because You love me, You take care of that which is presenting care to me.

As I began to put into practice what the Lord taught, the revelation of His love began to flood my heart and mind. I realized my Father loved me in whatsoever state I was. If I was afraid, angry, insecure, unsure, feeling rejected, or whatever I was experiencing at the time, I learned God loved me in the midst of it. My thinking had always been that God was angry with me, disappointed in me, and it was some kind of sick joke I was born in the first place. During that time in my life, my perception of God changed, and as it did, I could see myself in the light of His love. I began to see that He was not angry with me, but that He loved me very much, and out of His love, wanted to spend time with me, teach me, and love on me. He revealed His desire to walk closely together in a loving relationship. Even then, I did not realize God was making His grace known to me.

Many times when I awoke during the night, it was because I perceived that the Lord wanted to spend time with me, so I would get my journal and write as He spoke, into my spirit. I wrote everything down so I could read it to my husband the next day. I wanted to make sure that what I was hearing was in fact coming from the Spirit of God. Harlan would open the Bible and show me that what the Lord had said to me during the night was in the Word. Even though confidence in my ability to hear from God grew, I continued writing in my journals everything He taught me.

It was not until March 2007 He revealed His will to write this book. He gave me the title, showed me a vision of the cover and revealed it was to be written in letter format. As I sat down and began to write, I said, Lord, I cannot write a book. The Lord spoke to me, saying, The letters will be personal to you, and when finished it will be published. Each letter enlarged God’s love in my heart as my Father, as He beautifully unfolded the revelation of the gift of His Son. As I wrote all He spoke into my spirit, He revealed the finished work of Christ Jesus, as I had never personally seen it before.

You will notice these letters have no dates, because as with God Himself, His words to us are timeless. Although the letters are personal to me, my prayer is that our Father gives you the revelation of the glorious love of an adoring Father for His child, through the gift of His Son. May you be blessed on your journey with our wonderful God, as He reveals His love for you, opening up the mystery of CHRIST IN YOU.

Love Letter One 

My Dear Child,

As we begin our journey together, I want you to understand I am revealing Myself to you as the loving Father I am. To do this, My child, is My great pleasure. I have chosen to reveal Myself to you in a way whereby we may know and love each other, so that we may have fellowship, one with the other, and you may walk in your true identity. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. 1)

My word is very plain. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation (took our place) for our sins. 2) You see My child, it was I that first loved you, and I manifested My love to you in the sending of My Son. It has been My great desire to communicate My love to you. I do not want to seem to be distant and uncaring, but I want you to see me as a Father who is easy to reach, and a delight to know. My desire is to dwell in you, that I may manifest Myself to you and through you in strength and in power. I want the reality of who I am, and who Christ is in you, to become living reality to you. In this day, I have come to reveal Myself as I truly am, by indwelling you, spirit, soul and body, by the Spirit of Christ, that you would know your God and Father, and be known of Him.

The truth is, I am God, and I am love. It is My nature to love, it is My nature to give, to nurture, to protect, and to build up. The river of life flows out from Me, and all who submit to the truth, that I am God, who loves them, will bathe in the river of My life. With My life, I will transform you into the reality of being a child of God in nature, and character, and will bring forth the fruit of who I am, in you, by love.

You see, My child, love is the key to understanding and knowing Me, for therein, your own identity is revealed to you. The secret of who you are, and what your destiny is, is hidden in who I am in you. To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 3) As we walk on together, the mystery of who I am, and who you are in Me, shall be made known to you. Come along with me on this journey of love, as we walk together discovering the truth.
