Through this book, I have learnt the formula for living a fulfilled spiritual life, which means meditating on the Word of God throughout the day. This will help me to seek God’s face diligently and do the things that I was called to do. It has taught me not to give up even when the chips are down but to preserve and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit so that I can hear him clearly. The lessons I have learnt are going to help others who were still trying to find themselves by learning how to be open to the Holy Spirit.

Mama Grace, thank you for allowing God to use you mightily. Thank you for being a humble servant of God and allowing God to use you by writing this book that will build all saints spiritually by becoming what God has predestined them to be.

To Katleho Seobi, it was not easy but we made it by God’s grace and mercy. To Yoliswa De Vos, your presence in our lives took me on yet another journey of self-discovery and taught me that life is not black and white but is made out of the colours of the rainbow.

To my biological parents, Manathane Buthelezi and Marumu Buthelezi and my adoptive parents, Manana and Khitshane Mokhothu, thank you for your unconditional love.

    FOREWORD

From my early years, as I grew up, I used to be haunted by the question, who am I? This question kept on coming in my spirit, and when it immersed in my spirit, I would be confused because it created emptiness in my thoughts, which made me feel like I did not know who I really am. I could not understand why I am not fulfilled by own identity because I often felt lost. I felt like an assignment has been given to me to search for my own identity. Even though I knew my physical identity, I needed to find my spiritual identity.

Today I am grateful to God, who has appointed one of his servants, a woman of God, to go and reveal to the human race their true identity. Today people like you and I will receive the true knowledge of our identity because of the obedience of people like Prophetess Grace Thoso.

Who Am I in Christ? is a revelation of God to the entire world so that the whole human race can have the opportunity of being transfigured from a worldly identity to a full identity in Christ. I believe the question that never gave me rest has now been answered through this book.

People who live life without knowing who they are in Christ Jesus are the same people who live life without purpose; these are people facing the greatest tragedies of their lives. They are people who do not know who they are, are unable to manifest their true glory, and continue to live a life of shame and condemnation. To know who you are in Christ is to rediscover your true self—the inner man created in the image and likeliness of God. In order to live a life of purpose and manifest your glory on earth, you have to know your true identity in Christ.

To the woman of God, the Lord’s prophetess, Grace Thoso, I am truly humbled by your true love to our heavenly Father, your obedience to Christ Jesus, and the submission, commitment, and passion you possess for his work. I believe that all you have received is highly inspired, influenced by the Lord’s Spirit for the salvation and perfection of our lives to Christ’s full stature. The Lord will continue his work through you. May all the words written in this book bring about liberty for all creations of God.

    INTRODUCTION

Since finding God, whom I can talk to, I was not surprised when he told me to write this book, and this is the story of how I was inspired to write this book.

I had been earnestly praying and sharing some spiritual material with Prophet Lehlohonolo Tatsi for quite some time, and it was not surprising that the Holy Spirit instructed us to go on a twenty-one-day Daniel fast, which we gladly did, starting from 5 September 2014. This happened because one Sunday at church, we were both told to start praying for each other, and that was how everything unfolded. Whatever information we were given came differently, but its purpose was to serve as confirmation that indeed it was the Holy Spirit talking, and it became clear that we were indeed led by God.

On the day of the completion of the fast, it was extended to a month, and a few days before the completion of the month-long fast, it was further extended to the first week of December 2014. The extension meant that something big or immense was about to happen though we did not know when or what would transpire.

It was only on 1 November 2014 that everything was revealed on my way to church; a spiritual explosion occurred and changed my life forever. This was when I had a special encounter with the Holy Spirit; he gave me the title of the book, the number of chapters, and information about the salvation prayer. The introduction of the book came after all the chapters were completed. The instructions were simple. I was to start writing the book while being led by the Holy Spirit because I alone would not have completed it. The more I spent time in the presence of the Holy Spirit, the more information was revealed through dreams, visions, and his audible voice.

The prerequisites for writing the book were also stipulated, and I had to obey them completely. I was not allowed to write the book when I was upset—whether I was right or wrong. I had to resolve any issues that I had with anybody whom I had a disagreement with. I had to forgive anyone I had not forgiven because I would be a hypocrite, writing about forgiveness and doing the total opposite. A week into writing the book, I was forbidden from watching certain television programmes till the manuscript was completed, and I complied.

The wonderful thing about the Holy Spirit is that I could renegotiate my terms and conditions with him, particularly if it is for a good course. With regard to the temporary ban on watching television, I had to ask permission from him to watch a particular program because my best friend’s son, Prophet Nthle Mahlatsi, was making his first ever debut. I felt that I should not miss watching him on a national television show, and my request was granted.
