Pastor Trueluck is the Principle Founder of Emmanuel Fellowship Center Church of God in Christ in Bennettsville, SC. He is a native of South Georgia, where he matriculated through school and met his high school sweet heart, First Lady Arnetrice. They’ve been happily married for over 25 years and through their union together they have three sons, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter and grandson and seven Goddaughters.

Pastor Trueluck gave his life to the Lord on January 6th, 1986 and was baptized with the Holy Ghost in a Men’s Retreat in Japan in 1988. He yielded to the Lord’s call to preach according to Luke 4:18-19, in that same year. He was later ordained an Elder by the SC Jurisdictional Bishop, of the Church of God in Christ in 1995. He’s traveled around the world through his career in the Military, Corporate companies, and with the Government and God has used him to preach everywhere he’s gone. Many have accepted the Lord as their Savior through his outreach ministries with hospitals, prisons, and street services. He is an anointed minister for this generation. He’s a preacher to the broken-hearted, a proven leader among God’s people, a man of vision, gifted in administration, and a true inspiration for excellence. He has a sincere passion to see the progression of God’s people everywhere.

Elder Trueluck is a studious and prepared preacher, who teaches the Word of God with clarity and simplicity. He has taught Bible Study series and published material on:

    1) Books of Acts and Romans

    2) Study of the Tabernacle

    3) The Prayers of the Bible

    4) Teaching on the Holy Ghost

    5) The 10 Keys to Kingdom Living

His secular education includes an Associate degree in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force and he holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Coastal Carolina University. He’s completed numerous Biblical courses and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Church Administration and Theological Studies.

He has served as the C.H. Mason Bible Institute Administrator and as the Assistant Director of the Leadership Conference of the SC Jurisdictional Church of God in Christ. He is currently serving as the Financial Officer of the C.H. Mason District. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Johnson Family Endowment at Coastal Carolina University.

His greatest prayer is that the Lord would use him mightily to preach salvation and deliverance to the lost and hurting souls everywhere.

    Introduction—The Privilege of Prayer:

The Bible says in James 5:16: . . . The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. The implication of this commonly quoted scripture is that a man in right-standing has much favor with the Sovereign Lord. Certainly the emphasis is not that we have any righteousness of our own to warrant God’s favor, but He chooses to answer the prayers of His people. This scripture suggests that the Almighty, El-Shaddai God would be willing to hear the petition of those He is pleased with. For this very reason, I chose this verse as the central premise for writing this book in order to lead us back to the place of prayer. Aside from being one of our primary roles in the Body of Christ, inevitably every Believer will find themselves either needing prayer or needing to pray for someone else.

We are given the privilege of worshipping God for who He is and praising Him for what He has done. And ultimately, praying to God is for us to connect with where He is. If praising the Lord in worship invites His presence to us on earth, then praying in worship invites us into His presence in
