About this ebook
C.N. Cantelon
I studied writing in the late 1960's at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, taking classes from William Stafford, Vern Rutsala and James Liddy, among others. I earned my BA in Literature there, then went on to get an MA in English Literature fom the University of Southern California. I began publishing individual poems in magazines and anthologies during that time. I didn't pursue publishing until 2014, when I had my first book, "Continuity," published. Since then, I have published three more books of poetry and prose with Trafford. "Mind Music" will probably be my last.

Should I claim certainty,
I fool myself.
Nothing is so sure as
The transcendence of perspective.
Even looking back
Has its angles and reflections.
My memory falters with time.
What, once, seemed sure
Is, now, softened and weakened.

Should we not feed it to keep it?
Let your present be filled
With the foods of love and compassion,
