About this ebook

Looking at yourself through Gods eyes is like looking in a mirror. The first time I looked in Gods mirror I hated what I saw about myself. One thing about taking that long hard look at yourself, it will make you pray.

I am so grateful to God for allowing me to go through what I call the Overcoming Process. I had buried unforgivness and hurt so deep in my spirit that it took many experiences and Godly revelation to be able to understand why my life had taken some of the turns it had.

Through prayer and Gods merciful long suffering I can now be proud of my reflection in Gods mirror. I know now that my image is the reflection of His love for me.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    DEDICATION

I would like to dedicate this book to the hurting people of God who need to know how to overcome in their lives and come into an intimate, personal relationship with God. May God use my life to help you.

To my sister, Shirley, who encouraged me to obey God and to write this book. She spent many hours helping me research and edit the book. Without her, I would not have finished it.

To Kay Smith for all the time she spent proof reading, editing and encouraging me.

To my former pastor and spiritual mother, Dorma Allensworth, who spent years loving me and helping me learn to overcome.

Last but not least; to my church family who stood with me as God took me through the overcoming process.

You all will never know how much you mean to me. I love you!

    PREFACE

In the last days, I will pour out my spirit upon all men. (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17). This represents a moving of the spirit of God. The purpose of this moving is to stir the hearts of people back toward God.

For several generations, the church system (known as beasts) has devoured God’s people. A cloud of deceit has crept into their hearts. The church system clouded the truth and lost the vision that God had once given them. The carnal man took over the things of God, and the truth was so diluted that it has become hard to tell what the truth is from what’s false.

The word of God tells us that the last days would be like the days of Noah, (Matthew 24:37-39). People are so busy eating and drinking and going about their everyday affairs that they do not see what is spiritually going on around them. God always works in patterns with humans. When a generation of people drew away from God and cold spiritually, God would raise up a prophet (one who utters revelations or predicts events). The prophet would begin to proclaim what God was doing on the earth. This is what present truth is to the generation to which God is speaking. God’s current message is for the inhabitants of the earth to know the now message of what reality is for us today. The message that God gave to the previous generations was their present truth. For them, it was the reality of what God expected their relationship with Him to be.

The judgment with which God judged a generation of people was based on the truth and amount of knowledge that they had about God. It is also true that the sins of past generations would pass on to even the third and fourth generations (Exodus 20:5, 34:7), but the knowledge of God also passed down. What is the present day truth for our generation?

God wants His people to know that the last trump has sounded, which is the last cry of God to His people. His government has now come to take its’ dominion on the earth and to subdue all the kingdoms of this world and to bring them into submission to His kingdom (Revelation 11:15).

Our Father God has come to put an end to the works of flesh and darkness and to put all things under submission to His Christ. So, what is our present day truth? God
