Dedication
This book of writings is a combination of two dear friends (Tarja and Dotty). Dotty Wessel was a mentor, teacher, philosopher, traveler, and great friend. Profits from The H Book are devoted and donated to fight cancer.
This publication is dedicated to the coauthor and dear friend, Dr. Dorothy (Dotty) Sullivan Wessel and her brilliant, energetic life, and courageous fight with cancer (1928-2005). It is also dedicated to her husband, Herman Wessel, and his pleasure of life and his ultimate demise to cancer (1927-2006). They join each other in eternal rest as they did in life.
For the love of life and living, I dedicate this book to my husband of over 40 years, Jack, and to my sons, Jeff and Steve. I also dedicate it to my wonderful, caring brother, Don J. Pelto, Esq., and to my loving parents, Calvin and Pirkko Pelto.
FOREVER,
WITH LOVE,
Tarja
REINCARNATION
By Dr. Tarja Geis
Are we new?
Is each soul sparkling
Without past influences?
How do infants,
Already have distinct personalities?
A child prodigy?
How is that talent possible?
Are we a blank slate?
Are our paths set at birth?
Are our talents existing
Before we are born?
Are our passions
And our talents
Already predetermined?
Is the cause a past life?
Reincarnation.
HAPPINESS
By Dr. Tarja Geis
A loving husband,
So constant and supportive.
Parents who show
Their caring,
In so many ways.
Sons who are
Growing into men
Who respect and show
Their values daily.
A brother,
Stoic and reserved,
Yet tender and gentle.
Giving and helping,
Always there.
Pets and joys,
Health and safety.
God has blessed us.
As the sun shines
And blue skies
Envelope us,
Gifts from God,
Blessings are abundant.
SANDWICHES
By Dr. Dorothy Wessel
I like to make sandwiches,
Piled up so high.
Egg salad, tuna
And ham on rye.
But now,
Way down in my belly,
All I want is,
Peanut butter and jelly!
SEASHORE
