    Endorsement

    Good afternoon Dana,

Thank you so much for sending me your story, I just finished reading it. I’m honored you chose to share it with me. It is a beautiful story that speaks to all you’ve overcome and all the incredible people that have helped support and guide you in sickness and in health. I’m so touched that my father played such a critical role in your life. He was the consummate physician, with a skill and a bedside manner all doctors should strive to achieve in their careers.

Best of luck with the next steps of publishing.

    Warm regards,

    Magali

    -St. Augustine

The birth of a child is a moment of new beginnings and of joy. A moment of expectations and plans for the future. Her creation and entrance into this world is, in essence, the ultimate act of hope. Which can be shattered by the diagnosis of a congenital heart defect, threatening to take it all down in an instant. And with it, comes feelings of confusion, anger, fear, and hopelessness. And of grief- for the loss of health and a life that is not, will not, be the one that was envisioned.
