    SUMMARY

    Dedication

This book is dedicated in Loving Memory of my daughter, Karen Vinson Hatch. Her life’s journey began September 27, 1968 and it was finished on Good Friday March 25, 2005. Karen was not just my daughter, she was my best friend, my prayer partner, my travel companion, and my co-worker in ministry.

You spell Karen o-t-h-e-r-s oriented. She was a mighty woman of God who kept me grounded in Scripture and Exploring our destiny together. Her Super-Natural Wisdom and Super-Natural Favor caused her to recover miraculously from many near-death experiences and we saw the Glory of God which was only a Glimpse of Eternity.

My prayer for all of my beloved readers is John 17:11b that they may be one, as we are.

    INTRODUCTION

This Devotional offers you experience and the steps in exploring the possibilities of Knowing Who God Is and equipping others for a Real Relationship with The Creator of the Universe. First, His plan is revealed, second our position and third, it gives a glimpse of Prayers and Participation in the Church Body.

God wants you to know who He is. He never meant for you and me to wander in uncertainty. He has given you a plan of life. Living His way is living in peace, strength, and power. This book is written to encourage men and women to become people of God. It provides an over all look at God and our relationship with Him. It is also written to emphasize the importance of applying the Word and His moral laws to our daily lives.

Who is God, the Lord Almighty? He is the Triune God, called the Holy Trinity, and consists of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity is a three-in-one God with unique attributes. For those who struggle in their understanding of the Trinity and our union with Him, this devotional will help clarify this truth.

We live as His people in our world. There is an offer made by the Triune God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is His plan for you. It is His covenant offer Ephesians 1:22 says, He has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the Church. We have union with Him. We are His Bride; and what a wonderful position to be in. Therefore we need to appreciate all that He has done and going to do in and through us. If we take a good look back at where we were and what we were, you may find that you might have done a lot of Good things, but if He was not in control of your life, they were only Good things and not God things. Your life was one of disobedience, controlled by the Prince of the Air and you did not have the Life of Christ in you. This Prince of the Air was blinding eyes like smog that keeps things from being clear, such as your ideas and your emotional impulses, and was causing you to walk in the course of this world.

This devotional will show you what we didn’t deserve while you were yet dead in your sins. It gives a picture of us raised up and seated together with Him. We are His trophies, exhibiting His Grace and His Riches. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto Good Works that He preordained and how we should walk in them. We will see that we are a Source of Grace and not works, and we should walk in these preordained works He called us to do. We will see that God has prepared works for every believer. Matthew 28:19 says, Go preach and teach all nations. This devotional reveals His planned relationship to the Church, that we are His Chosen People, all races, all nations are one in Christ and we will be together through all ages. We are His temple built on Jesus the Revealed Knowledge of Him(Christ), and we are His dwelling place.

Finally, prayer is communication with God. This devotional will help you pray any and all prayers. You will have a desire to pray from the heart rather than someone’s prayer suggestions or ideas. It gives a skeleton to hang all prayers for use in everyday and natural happenings in our life. And most of all shows you how to pray the Word which is praying a perfect prayer. This book may be used for short religious services, study groups or for individual meditations.

    DAY ONE

    Knowing The Character of God:

Pray to God today to make himself known to you through His love(His word) who has revealed Himself to you as (Jesus, Messiah, Anointed One; soon coming King of Kings) Ask in Faith that He will give you a Quiet Mind, and a Mind of Peace and direct your thoughts to Him.

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis. 17: 1-8 NIV v1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless. v. 2. I will confirm my covenant between Me and you and will greatly increase your numbers. v. 3 Abram fell face down, and God said to him. v. 4 As for Me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. v. 5 No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. v.6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. v.7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. v.8 The whole land of Canaan, where you are now an alien, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God"

POINTS: Christians should want to know God for many reasons. But the primary one is because God is Creator of all things visible and invisible. He is also man’s Redeemer and Righteous Judge. The Bible which is the Written Word of God, reveals to us the nature of God as Spirit, as Unity, and as Trinity. God is Spirit. He is a Personal, Infinite Being, He is One in Nature, and Incapable of being divided or separated into parts, and He is (three) or Trinity (eternally coequal persons). God’s attributes are mere words that man use to describe how God is and how God acts towards us. Some of these to name a few are: Love, Holiness, Truth, Eternity, All-Knowing (omniscience) All-Present (omnipresence), and All-Powerful (Omnipotent). In fact, God’s desire is that we Know Him, His Plans, His will and His Purpose for our lives. God the Father, denotes a relationship established by Covenant first with the Nation Israel, and then with Believers established by Grace through His Son Jesus; By the Power of His Holy Spirit. Our Relationship with the Son determines whether we will become Christians, and our Relationship with the Spirit of God determines what kind of Believer or Christian we will be. These passages of scripture will shed light on How this works. In verse 1, God is described as, I am The Almighty, El Shaddai, God Almighty. El—signifies Strong One and Shaddai, the Breasted One. This pictures God as the Strong-Nourisher, Strength-Giver, Satisfier, and All-Bountiful, the Supplier of the Needs of His people. Its first occurrence here reveals God as the Fruitful-One who was to multiply Abraham Abundantly; He is "The Life-Giver," who was to restore life to Abraham and Sarah who were as good as dead, (as far as their off-springs was concerned.) Through Him, they were to have future off-springs as the dust, as the stars, and as the sand. Genesis 13:16; 15:5; 22:17. This promise included The Believers also, Abraham’s Adopted Family. Therefore, there is Life given for any dead situation in your life. First John 4:14-17 says, "and we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world, Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God, and we have known and believed the Love that God has for us. God is Love, and he who abides in Love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this; that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; (because as He is, so are we in this world) Focus on As He is, He suffers no lack, has no doubt, fear, or unbelief, He is not poor, sick, or unwise; and we have Life Eternal with Him. How can these things be one may ask? We must choose to be lead by His Counsel and His Word. His Word will satisfy you in
