Most of the poems in this collection were inspired by emotions
and experiences by him and real life people he watched from
close and far distances. Poetry is stories artistically compressed
in few lines.

The Beautiful and Beauty
Love is beautiful
An Ode on you
Stay you
How long?
I will try
The Peak’s zenith
Something or nothing
This broken heart
Things happen
He and I
A broken arrow
I long
When fireflies fly
Strive to be happy
Invasion of the Jungle
The girl and the well
What if?
Somebody or nobody
Crying free man
Where is satisfaction?
You cannot finish them all
Rumble in the jungle
Black . . . white
Who’s there?
I need it
Oh Mama Africa
Mother
Here and there
Storm and darkness
Money and power
That part
I will miss you
Life’s dreams
The day the wind blew
Blessings
Oh you
A single mother
Time flies
Sorry I am happy
The rhythm
Scary tales
A journey
Dreaming
Love
Am I wrong?
I love you darling
Beware my dear
My identity
Hold my hand
Nothing lasts forever
What will you do with it?
Be gluttonous
Selfish me
Actions and reactions
That bird and I
Dayandnightmare in Paradise
Ship without an anchor
What happened to my defense?
When will I be happy again?
This is my poem
The past, present and future
Acknowledgement
First of all I would like to give thanks and praise to the
Almighty God for giving me this talent to put words together and make sense. Thank you Lord.
I would also like to thank my late Sweetest Mother, Ellen Kadie Gaye, Nee Stephens who passed away on 18th June 2005. I still love you mom despite you are gone you are still in my heart. You are still the queen of my heart. You raised me single handedly I wish you were here to read all this. This whole book is dedicated to you. You inspired A Single Mother
and many more poems
This also goes out to my brothers Patrick (PDK) a.k.a. Pato. Boy,
thank you I don’t need to say much and you Gibrilla Sesay, a.k.a. Gibo. Blood thanks for being there with me always. You know words can’t say all. And to my lovely sister, Fatu Bainda, Girl you know I love you . . .
This special thank you goes to you my aunty, Ms Mildred Lewis. I don’t know what I would have done without you. The typewriter, the computer . . . it would not have been possible without you.
I want you to know that I really appreciate you.
The last but not the least, all my teachers who taught me especially English and the approach to life, thanks, you did a good job.
And all those who are suffering in the hands of injustice,
keep your heads up and keep the faith in the
Almighty God. Peace!
Happenings
The omega of one thing is the alpha of another
One chapter closes another sometimes opens
Scenes keep changing
The bright keep fading
Mobility brings forth yonder
And the mind brings yonder to hither
The eyes keep seeing shades and shine
The tongue tastes
