BARGAD USED AS MEDICINE TO CURE
THE FOLLOWING DISEASES AND AILMENTS
Asthma
Take all the five (fibrous root, leaves, fruits, bark and soft branches) products of Bargad in even quantity. Ground all of them together coarsely and then soak the mixture in water for twenty four hours. Now, crush the solid material in water, and boil the water till only 1/8th part of the water is left. After cooling it, sediment the water and again boil on less temperature to make the solution thick. You will get the essence of Bargad after cooling this mixture. Form small tablets and take at least seven tablets a day for six days to get rid of asthma.
Baldness
If it is due to the hereditary reasons, it is not curable. But, if it is result of some weakness or after effect of some illness it can be cured. Take soft fibrous roots, new sprouts, new beans, soft pulp of new bark and the milk of new leaves, and boil it in linseed oil with properly covered container till it fully roasts. Keep the fire intensity low. Add a little of jasmine essence and apply this oil on your head for a month to get lustrous hair.
Blood in Vomit
First grind, boil and strain the soft fibrous roots or branches of Bargad. Cool and strain the fluid and make the patient drink it for early cure. This will immediately stop vomitting. Alternatively, grind soft leaves of Bargad to pulp, add a little of sugar candy powder and ask the patient to lick it once in every hour.
Bleeding in Loose Motion
Pluck about five soft leaves of Bargad and grind them so finely as to make them dissolved in water. Drink this solution without straining it. The more finely the leaves are grounded the better will be the effect. This will not only stop bleeding loose motions but will also provide strength to the body. Give the fluid after every two hour. One or two doses will cure the trouble.
