Whether exploring the neighborhood woods or playground adventures, Elle was outside from early morning until dusk. As she grew, her fascination with words grew too.She received an urgent message from Spirit that she was holding ancient wisdom that needed to be shared with children. From there, Nature Connections was born. One of her roles in life was to become a pollinator of nature’s wisdom and share it with children in fun, fanciful stories. After leaving corporate life at 58, Spirit led her into the world of alternative and energy healing. Through her deep connection with nature, she was led to study Plant Spirit Medicine. She was a late bloomer but right on schedule with destiny. As a college graduate from Appalachian State University, she became a pioneer for women in business during the mid-70s and was hired into positions traditionally held by men. For example, she was the first female Zone Representative in the Carolinas for Ford Motor Company, a Vice President of Sales for Ceridian Corporation and culminating her career as an Executive Director of Learning & Development for a 26,000-employee pharmaceutical research organization, Quintiles, before departing in 2012.She acknowledges we are living in extraordinary times and everyone needs to awaken to what really matters: we are all connected through nature as one!

Did you know that plants have superpowers? If you pick a flower, the plant can grow a new one! We can learn a lot by watching plants. Oh, oh, excuse me! Where are my manners? I’m Light Feather and thanks for joining me today! I’m a fun-loving fairy who changes colors as the seasons change.
My color for summer is red to signify our one heart and the hot summer sun! See if you can find the 3 places I hide in this story. Here we go…
Story time with Ms. Cheryl was continued during the summer because the children loved learning about nature and how we’re all connected.
The children planted their community garden in late spring. They were amazed to see the plants growing.
They had even started picking some of the vegetables. Each day they took turns checking on it with the help of Ms. Cheryl and their parents.
Their leafy greens were ready to pick first. Shortly after, they picked sweet peas.
