Difficult People and You The Battle Is Easy For You to Win - Malone Laure

    Introduction

Are you facing a difficult personality?

Who has never been confronted, one day or another, with a difficult, uncompromising, painful or even toxic personality?

Most of the time our reaction is anger, resentment, or just avoidance. Our reflex, quite natural, is to push back what does not please us, this other who disturbs us.

Yet I recently realized that another radically new approach was possible. For this reason, I would like to share with you the some ideas that I developed on Dealing with Difficult Personalities.

We are sometimes told to love our enemies, but we don't really know how. Some people are picky, others can be downright toxic. Sometimes we can just take them out of our lives and that's often the best thing to do. But on the other hand...

This is not always possible. Sometimes it's your boss, and you can't afford to lose your job. Another time it will be your brother-in-law and you don't want to get angry with your sister. Sometimes again, it is your ex-wife or ex-husband and you need to keep getting along for the kids. It could be your new neighbor, or it could be an incompetent person in the after-sales service of a big box.

What if it was possible to move from exasperation to tolerance, or better yet, to love and acceptance?

I propose and develop in this book two main themes and some key ideas and concrete advice.

Theme 1. Changing your outlook on difficult personalities

    Theme 2. Changing yourself

Ultimately, it is our responsibility to be the change we want to see in the world. Our current society is gripped by fear. Our world needs you to go beyond your usual circle and light it up with radical love.

    Love Is What We Need

Basically people are good, but just very scared.

It is often debated today whether the nature of man is fundamentally good or bad. What do you think? I don't think either option is true. People are built on a complex mix of innate and learned, in a specific environment, with their own genes and a basic survival instinct. Overall I would say people are basically good, but very very scared. And fear can lead to making bad choices. However, if we consider that a person acts out of fear rather than because they are inherently bad, then our whole perception changes. It is much easier to be patient, compassionate, and forgive someone who struggles with complex evolutionary instincts
