Reviews for This Book Is Gay

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It is clear this book focuses on the younger generation. And then probably cos they wonder what’s going on with them or simply don’t know all that much about LBGT and want to know what it is all about. BUT I do believe that adults can learn just as much and with the pinch of humor might even make the average homophobe change his point of view!Either way, I think I can say we’ll all agree this book belongs on the shelves of every department in every library!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A fantastic guide for teens on life in the LGBTQ+ community, with lots of helpful advice on how to come out, what to do about bullies, and even how gay sex works. It's all told in a very no-nonsense, comfortable, no-big-deal way, and repeatedly stresses that all identities and orientations are valid, which is wonderful. A great read for all teens, regardless of their gender or sexuality.
