Drizzle fell on her face as she got out of the café, pushing the glass doors open with trembling hands. Sandra Taylor let out a shaky breath while she pulled down the scarf covering the lower part of her face.

She stood still for a moment and after gathering her composure back, she walked to a random direction, fished out the crumpled paper in her pocket, and dropped it unceremoniously in the nearest trash bin. People walked past her without a glance, but she felt like she was being watched, that they knew and were secretly judging her.

She knew she did the right thing. He clearly disregarded his promise as if Sandra's feelings didn't matter. She was only taking vengeance and justice in her own way.

She was fed up. And he deserveD to die.

The moonlight seeped past the floral curtains hanging in her windows, casting a faint glow on her bed. It's late but Sandra kept on turning, kicking off her blankets and pulling it up again. Faint sounds of cars speeding by did nothing to distract her from her thoughts, her ash brown hair spread on her pillows messily as she stared at the white ceiling.

The thought of what was about to happen in the coming days caused an unsettling feeling but at the back of her mind, she believes that Aiden committed a mistake worth his life. Despite everything, they shared for the past years and the guilt and doubt filling her heart, she was certain of her decision.

If only he did not cheat on her. If he did not broke his promise that he swore to always keep, then Sandra would not have done this.

The thought of Aiden with another girl the other day drove her insane and summoned the devils in her mind. It cornered her to an idea that was long ago put on the back burner but suddenly sounded appealing that moment. She thought about it for days, but no matter how she fought with the rational part of her mind, the pain brought about by her ex-boyfriend cannot be erased.

The first time it happened was a year ago. Aiden cheated on her with a rookie model he worked with. He dated her and bought her things, and made up excuses to Sandra that he was too busy and she completely fell for them.
