      Dear Ely,

      How are you love? How are you doing? You have been in my dreams since the first day I left you. I will continue dreaming till I see you again. I pray to God to keep you safe and bless you two, my angels. I'm good and still standing. Yesterday I got a few more wounds in my body. Plus, a bullet in my arm. Don't worry, one bullet will not get me back faster to you. We have a long match here with the Nazis now. Our plan is to win and get back Italy. Italy is really a beautiful country. When this war is finished, I will take you and Lolly to see Sicily. How is our little girl? Is she doing well in school? Tell her I'm fine and missing her. Soon we will all be together. Just wait and be patient.
