About this ebook

Drama City is a reality of any city.I try to paint vivid pictures through the words of this book. The story takes place from mid- January of 2008- May of 2009, which includes real life issues that me and my family faced. From my grand parents home getting shot up. Until I and a few of my male family members almost being murdered. The long road from the Hospital(Jackson Memorial hospital and the Ryder Trauma center) to the time I finally come home.I faced many trials and tribulations in this short period of my life. Not once did I never stop thanking ALLAH. It also has many poems and bonus chapters which reflect on my life. I am Drama City!

Reginald Killings

My name is Reginald Killings but many know me as Foola or King Sak K.O.D. I am Drama City, through and through and The Society follows my lead. I live by three basic fundamentals. Trust, Love Loyalty. I'm the oldest of at least ten different brothers and sisters. If you think Drama City is deeper than rap. Then The Society is deeper than that. I love Allah and his messenger Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)

FIRST AND FOREMOST I’d like to say Alhamdulillah (All praises be to Allah). I give all of my thanks to the one true creator of the heavens and earth. Not at one point in my life, I stopped giving my thanks and praises to Him. All thanks are given to Allah for all the blessings that he has given me. I thank Allah for blessing me with so many wonderful people to be part of my life. The first person that I must show my honor and respect to, is my mother Pamela. I will also show honor and respect to my other mothers. Mrs. Mary Louis Cooper, Ms. Willie Blanch Killings and to Annette Jackson. After my mother then it’s my mother then it’s my mother then it’s my father Fredrick Killings. I want to show my appreciation to my family and friends. To all of my Muslim brothers who always supported me through everything. I pray that Allah shower his blessings upon you all. Special appreciation is meant and due to my brothers who are not my blood. My dearest appreciation goes out to my brothers Dirt, Darnell Boykin, King Solomon and J.D. The risk you all took in order to support me. I will always love you. I have to give my last appreciation to my grandfather and father. Joseph, Fredric also my stepfather Watson. There are so many people that I forgot. To all of the people who always hoped and prayed for the best outcome towards any situation that I been through the last few years of my blessed life that I’ve been able to live. I have few more things to say. Trust, Love, Loyalty is all we know. Trust, Love, Loyalty is all we show. One last thing; for all the people who continue to hate on King Sak K.O.D. If you think Drama City is deeper than rap. The Society is deeper than that. DCS/TLL

    CHAPTER 1

    The Beginning of the Tragedy

IT’S JANUARY 16, 2008. The tension is rising on 56st. Or should I say, too much crookedness is going on. I was at home chilling but I know the story in detail. That night; damn! That night, it was a sad night. This is a first, second and third person account of the incident. My story, I am Drama City.

"Damn! Brah what’s up brah? Vasi says to Coop, his big brother.

"Damn! Brah what’s up, who is that in that car right there? Vasi asked.

"Don’t worry about it because it’s nothing. Coop responds.

Less than three minutes go by, Coop acted like he usually does. It sure did seem like he didn’t even care about himself or his younger brother’s safety.

"See! That’s the same car riding by again. Vasi says.

    "Are you sure? Coop replies.

    "Yes! I’m sure.

"Coop, please give me the hamma? Vasi begs.

"Chill, just wait and make sure that’s them.

"Why are you playin around, we got to be like Foola in this case.

"Be like Foola how? (Coop asked in disgruntle manner)

"Shot first then worry about the after.

"Foola be trippin and now your trippin.

See Vasi had a feeling something was going on. It wasn’t a good feeling at all. So he did what any good grandson would do. He decided to walk into the household and made sure his grandmother was safe.

See our grandmother was wheelchair bound. My cousin Vasi had to push my grandmother to her room. So my cousin Vasi did use his head. Like I always tried to tell him and this time he finally listened. You have to go with your first mind. Some might call it your first instinct. He did roll her into the bedroom. Thank God he did think of that in such a stressful time. He would be able to place her into her bed. As my younger cousin Vasi returned back to the living room with everyone else.

At the same given time, that suspicious car returned again but an extra van followed. It was a very different situation and because my cousin Coop noticed the car earlier. He was able to start running. Yes! Assault rifles pointed at him. We call them choppas or what the Russians call it. The AK-47’s were spitting. Allow me to rephrase myself. It was a few men shooting dozens of rounds at him. They were trying to kill him, actually kill him on the spot where he would be standing. Even though people say he had a hamma (gun) in his back pocket. He had no choice but to run.

He ran away in a drop of a dime but what do you expect for him to do. I know one thing for sure, if the choppa bullets would have caught up with him. The rounds would have shredded his body apart. Yes! Sir, Swiss cheese him and flipped his body upside down. He ran across my grandmother house. He just ran in front of all the kids and everyone else. When you’re terrified, running for life and you end up having total disregard for anyone else’s life but yours. The bullets followed him; 7.62 to be exact. As their hitting the household, chunks of concrete were getting knocked off my grandfather’s brick layer home. It was so similar to a war zone like you seen on the history channel or read in the history books.

My grandmother was able to be placed in her bed and everyone would be able to get down. Our pit bull is barking like mad. Then everyone notices a pool of blood building upon our white marbled floor. Damn! It’s my cousin Vasi. He attempts to get up but he can’t move. My uncle Rome grabbed him and held him tightly. He’s somewhat paralyzed and he doesn’t even know it. It’s a sad case, oh so sad. Everyone in the house would be crying and others are screaming so loud. I didn’t want to imagine. Where is Coop? Where is Coop? He would race across the household. He would run to my Aunt Lisa’s house around the corner. Her house was one block and three avenues away.

Furthermore, my little cousin was still trembling on the bloody floor. Then my Grandfather would see about the well-being of my grandmother. Thank God she was alright. If it was not for my younger cousin, Vasi forward thinking. She would have been in the same place where he just got shot. I would not know what I would have done if a hair was harmed on priceless body. Understand the point I’m trying to make. We were at war or at least that’s what I thought. I was always in a military state of mind. Some might say what type of men would do such a thing. Do a drive by shooting at a home with so many people outside. They started shooting and not really caring who you they
