CHAPTER ONE

NOTHING TO HIDE

There must be transparency between two people going into marriage. Lack of transparency between the man and the woman will lead to shame. Two people planning to get married should not hid issues from each other

If you are previously married or you have a child outside wedlock, such issues should be made known to your partner. Who then, will decide whether to go ahead or not? If there was a surgery that affected the reproductive system, for instance, the womb or the ovary is removed, you must let your partner know.

If the man is impotent, he must let the woman know and so on.  To later discover such facts after wedding means the wedding was conducted in errors and lies. It can't stand. Don't build your marriage on pretense and lie. It is against the principle for a blissful home.

WHAT EVERY WOMAN WANTS IN A MARRIAGE 

Marriage is good but full of responsibilities. Any marriage you see succeeding today are paying prices. If marriage will work well, each partner needs to perform their roles. The secrets to a blissful marriage are meeting the needs of your spouse.

If needs are not meant, there would be friction. The Bible writes in Psalm 11:3, if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

These are few things every woman wants in a marriage

1. Vision

If there is no vision, the people perish. The first thing God gave Adam was vision. The vision of taking care of the garden.

Unfortunately, some men today don't have vision for their families. Vision births leadership.

A man who cannot show a woman the right path to follow is a visionless man. What a woman needs from a man is vision and vision talks more about the future.

2. Fear of God

The Bible writes in Proverbs 9:10, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Why do some men cheat on their wives? The reason is that there is no fear of God. Such a man is not wise. Men should always bear it in mind that there are moments in marriage when sex will not be possible. If you are not disciplined as a man sexually, cheating on your spouse is possible.

Marriage does not only give you license for sex; it gives you more commitment.

3. Maturity

This is where we have big issues in many homes. A woman will always behave as a woman but she needs a man who can turn her weakness and mistakes to strengthen and success.

Some men today are babies. They are not meant to marry. I pity ladies who marry boys rather than men.
