INTRODUCTION

So many persons had gotten married today and regretting of been married at the first place due to pains, suffering and agony they are passing through. Most of them that couldn’t bear it got divorced and become single parents.

Most ladies didn’t even test a bit of married life but they are also single parents due to deceit they suffered from their partners during the Friendship coding or courtship. Most people that left their marriage leave because of; poverty, not what they saw from the beginning they are seeing again, domestic violence, and their spouse despising character which he or she had never shown when they were dating. Also Jealousy; they started thinking that their spouse is cheating on them due to staying long outside home at night or not picking their spouse calls whenever they are out there etc.

Many girls do no longer love men because of who they are but because of what they have and men had learnt that lesson and strategized on how to woo them in their bed and disgraced them. That’s why we have so many mothers today who had their children out of wedlock. Some of them abort their baby. Some died at the process of abortion while some of them damaged their womb. Only few were successful because they do the right thing.

In this Book, there are so many things you need to watch out for before getting into marriage world. Gone are those days when a female child will be born in a family, a father of another male child will come and deposit something on her head waiting for the girl-child to grow so that they will come and complete the dowry on behalf of his son whom he wants to marry the girl. And when the male child started living on his own, he will marry another woman whom he loved adding to the one his father married for him which bring about polygamous family.

In these days, you must know who you want to marry. Know what he or she does, where he or she comes from, check the type of lifestyle he or she is living to know if it suit’s yours. If not you will end up marrying a wrong partner.

COURTSHIP

In my own definition, Courtship simply means intimate relationship of a man and a lady before marriage. It is a time which both partners need to learn each other; the way of life, the character and the behavior. It is a time to know who your partner really is because all that glitters is not gold. It is a time to know if you can trust your partner or not. It is a time to know your partner’s behavior towards you and it is a time to know how your partner loves you and able to defend you at any given point in time or in any challenge. Crosscheck his or her family background. Know what exactly he or she is doing for a living. Examine his or her dreams to know how positive or negative it is. It is time to know if your dream aligned with that of your partners. It is time of character management. What I mean by character Management is to know if your partner’s character is the type you can adapt, submit to, accept or change. It is a time to know what your partner like and do not like, and also, what your partner love or want most from you. It may be a gift, being neat, sex, extra care and etcetera.

Real courtship can last for the minimum of six months and maximum of three years. Anything above this limit is no longer a courtship but indirect marriage because anything can happen at any moment. But some people’s courtship last for more than ten years before they get married or separated. Some also got all children they want to get in marriage before they get married or separated. To me, any courtships that last more than three years before getting married need to be respected. The truth of everything is that, some partners will keep their part in that process after years they will get separated; either the boy or the lady quit the courtship and leaving the other person in agony. This situation mostly affects women. Is not really good to keep a lady on a long relationship for more than three years in the name of courtship before engaging her and also, is a very wrong idea for a lady to be having series of abortion during courtship time because it will affect her seriously in the future. It would cause childlessness after marriage because you were unable to have at list a child and the man will start looking for another alternative. In some homes, the man will arrange for another fresh young lady who is new to the system to have his kids since his wife’s womb cannot carry at list a baby. He may honor you to live you in his home as wife while another lady is doing your job. He may also proceed to pay the dowry of the new lady once she is pregnant for him. I have seen ladies who had three to five abortions during their courtship just
