I am humbled beyond measure to give a word on behalf of my Sister in Christ, Patricia Blanks. I have known Elder Blanks for over 30 years. Not only is she my Sister in Christ, but she is a true friend, Prayer Partner, and Co-laborer in the Gospel. If I can describe Elder Blanks in one word I would say she is a true Warrior. I have watched her go through the Highs and lows of the journey called life. I have personally watched Elder Blanks Run with the footman, and contend with the Horses. Elder Blanks is a true Warrior in every sense of the word, her weapon of defense is Prayer, she is a Prayer Warrior!

Elder Blanks has a love for all mankind, and has a desire that everyone she meets feel the love of God that permeates from her spirit.

Elder Blanks is not just a Teacher of the Word of God, but also a teachable student of the word.

2 Corinthians 4:7 say, But we have this treasure in earthen Vessels that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. As you open this book you will be partakers of the treasure that God has locked in Elder Blanks. This book will enlighten your understanding of the Gifts of the Spirit. It is inspiring to know that God loves us so much he left us with Spiritual Gifts to help us to go through life.

Categories

The Gifts are grouped into three categories, the first three are known as Mind Gifts: Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, and Discerning of Spirits.

The second three are known as Vocal Gifts: Gift of Prophecy, Divers Kinds of Tongues, and Interpretation of Tongues.

The third three are known as the Power Gifts: The Gift of Faith, The Gifts of Healing, and The Working of Miracles.

The Mind, Knowing, Revelation Gifts

A)The Word of Wisdom is a supernatural revelation, or insight into the Divine will and purpose, showing how to solve any problem that may arise.1 Kings 3:16-28; Matthew 2:20; Luke 22:10-12; John 2:22-23, 4:16-19; Acts 26:16; 27:21-25; 1 Corinthians 5.

B)The Word of Knowledge is supernatural revelation of divine knowledge, or insight in the Divine mind, will, or plan; also the plans of others that man could not know of himself. Genesis 1:1-2:25; 1 Samuel 3:7-15; 2 Kings 6:8-12; Acts 9:11-12; Matthew 16:16; John 1:1-3; Acts 5:3-4, 21:11; Ephesians 3.

C)Discerning of Spirits is a supernatural revelation or insight into the realm of spirits to detect them and their plans and to read the minds of men. Matthew 9:4; Luke 13:16; John 2:25; Acts 13:9-10, 16:16; 1 Timothy 4:1-4; 1 John 4:1-6.

The Vocal , Inspiration Gifts

A)Prophecy is supernatural utterance in the native tongue. It is a miracle of Divine utterance, not conceived by human thought or reasoning. It includes speaking to men to edify, exhortation and comfort. 1 Corinthians 14:3; Acts 3:21, 11:28, 21:11; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Corinthians 14:23-32.

B)Diver kinds of tongues is supernatural utterance in other languages which are not know to the speaker. Isaiah 21:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 2:4, 10:44-48, 19:1-7; 1 Corinthians 12:10, 28-31, 13:1-3, 14:2, 4-22, 26, 27-32.

C)The Interpretation of Tongues is the supernatural ability to interpret in the native tongue what is uttered in other languages not known by the one who interprets by Holy Spirit. 15:10; 1 Corinthians 14:5, 13-15, 27-28.

The Power, Doing and Working Gifts

A)Faith the supernatural ability to believe God without human doubt, unbelief, and reasoning. Romans 4:17; James 1:5-8; Matthew 17:20, 21:22; Mark 9:23, 11:22-24; Hebrews 11:6, 12:1-3.

B)The Gifts of Healing is a supernatural power to heal all manner of sickness without human aid or medicine. Mark 16:18; John 14:12; 1 Corinthians 12:9.

C)The Working of Miracles is supernatural power to intervene in the ordinary course of nature and to counteract natural laws if necessary. Hebrews 2:3-4; Psalms 107; Exodus 7:10-14:21; 2 Kings 4:1-44; 6:1-7; Matthew 17:20; Mark 9:23; 11:22, 24; John 14:12.
