"Living In Total Health is not a 'how-to'. It is a 'way-to'"
--Doug Llewelyn, People's Court Fame
"What sets Living in Total Health apart from other health and wellness books is that the author, Glen Alex recognizes that there is no one-size-fits-all path to wellness, she does not prescribe how to exercise, find emotional balance, or eat a specific healthy diet. She presents clear information on the benefits of these activities and then leads readers through a series of questions that help them determine what actions will work for them. A refreshingly helpful approach."
--Next Generation Indie Book Awards Judge

Living In Total Health - Glen Alex
More Praise for Glen Alex and
Living in Total Health
"As a healthcare provider for forty-plus years, I am very pleased to recommend Glen’s book, Living in Total Health. She has provided a holistic philosophy and guide to living a ‘wellthy’ life. Her writing style is quite pleasant and very readable. I know of no other book like it. This is not a book of rules or have to’s. It consists of positive guides and choices of well-known information drawn from various disciplines and synthesized creatively. This presentation allows each person to create one’s own ‘wellthy’ life symphony. I found it to be enjoyable and thought-provoking reading."
— Joy Landers, MS, Summerdale, AL,
Retired Advanced Nurse Practitioner
"Living in Total Health is an enjoyable, inspiring read. Ms. Alex’s approach to health goes well beyond diet and exercise regimens to the core of what makes us happy and healthy as individuals. Her own story as well as those of her loved ones serve as heart-warming proof that optimal health involves the mind, body, and spirit, and that it lies within each and every person’s grasp. All we need to do is harness it. I recommend this book to anyone who aspires to a higher level of ‘wellth.’"
— Madeleine A. Goldman, Miami, FL,
Marketing Consultant
"Glen Alex’s book, Living in Total Health, is a wonderful combination of personal, relatable stories, comprehensive yet accessible health information, and self-evaluating health surveys. Each component, in concert with each other, causes one to pause and truly apply the wisdom offered in the pages to one’s self. I appreciate the fullness of health covered in this book. What a generous treasure given to the readers so they can potentially benefit so fully from Glen’s knowledge, experience, and gift of administering health, healing, and true wellness on those she touches with her hands, heart, and words."
— Nicole Sharp, Henderson, NV, Director of
Membership Las Vegas Health & Fitness Chamber
"Glen’s book Living in Total Health is a comprehensive help book for my entire life! As a self-help junkie myself, I typically will jump from book to book, depending on my ‘issue’ at the time. After years reading other books, Glen’s has finally put together all of this information in one place. It is a gentle reminder of the many complicated components that are jumbled together in our daily lives, and it explains them with examples that opened my eyes! She has insight and solutions for overcoming our worst enemy—ourselves. This book is like a life coach!"
— Ann Alba, BS Exercise Science, MBA,
Las Vegas, NV, Property Manager
"Glen lays her heart and soul out in this technical yet very moving and emotional depiction of what living in total health can and should look like. I was educated, moved, and inspired by her vast knowledge, personal tragedy, and absolute resilience to thrive with such grace and enlightenment! I am beyond thrilled that I picked up this book, and I am encouraged to use the tools presented in it to further my wellth!"
— Kristin Hunsaker, Salt Lake City, UT,
Massage Therapist, Teacher, Entrepreneur
"Glen’s approach to total health is refreshing! Most how-to books tell readers what to think and what to do. In Living in Total Health, Glen challenges (empowers) readers to think critically in determining what works in their individual lives and to do that.
— Renee Michelle Gordon, Author of
Finding Your Love at Last
"Anyone interested in optimum health will find Living in Total Health not only a great resource, but will find encouragement and relate to the author’s personal life experiences as well. An easy and enjoyable read, it offers a roadmap to a happier and healthier you!"
— Timora Cereghino,
Las Vegas, NV, Legal Secretary
"Glen’s passion for health is palpable. Her ability to connect with others on a loving level is special. Living in Total Health is a great extension of who she is."
— Mikki Wade, Life Coach, Grief Recovery Specialist,
and Author of Rediscovering Your Authentic Self
"Living in Total Health is a wonderful read! Some things I did know and a lot I didn’t connect together. The things I didn’t know, or should I say didn’t connect to me, Living in Total Health made me see differently. Although I’m aware that stress can contribute to high blood pressure and other health issues, I did not equate other aspects of living, or how I go about living, as being an important aspect of my total health. As I read the book, it all began to make sense and I thank the author for that."
— Gwendolyn West,
Los Angeles, CA, Legal Secretary
"Living In Total Health is brilliant! Glen eloquently connected the dots between physical, emotional, and mental health, and clearly illuminated personal truth as the binding agent between those elements. These pieces together strengthen resilience and lead to wellth."
— Lynda Lamp, Author of
Walking Through Your Walls
"What an inspiration Living in Total Health is! Much of the information Glen provides is new to me and useful. I totally see myself improving my boundaries and getting a better handle on my emotions. Looking forward to attaining wellth."
— James W. Connolly, Author of
Creating Leaders to Build Teams
"Glen has taken on a vast, far reaching concept—total wellness (and all that it entails)—and created an extremely succinct, readable work. The subject of total wellness has, in recent years, taken on real currency. A plethora of authors, e.g., physicians, psychologists, self-help gurus, personal trainers, etc., have tackled this subject. In many cases, they have created voluminous books that address the topics from a variety of perspectives. Often, useful insights can be ‘gleaned’ from their work. Unfortunately, one has to get through quite a bit of fat to reach the meat, so to speak.
"The joy of reading Glen Alex’s Living in Total Health comes from the clear, direct, and very personal manner in which she conveys the key components of total wellness. She explains the vital interconnection between physical health (exercise, in the broadest sense, proper nutrition, and rest), emotional health, and mental health. As mentioned before, these are big topics, but Glen succeeds in distilling each into useful, actionable pearls of wisdom. Throughout the book, Glen provides helpful, and, often, very personal examples. This serves to give Living in Total Health a considerable amount of credibility. One gets the sense that the author has learned the lessons that she now seeks to impart.
"I would strongly encourage you to read Living in Total Health, reread it, and keep it nearby as a total wellness handbook."
— Mike Wilson, Las Vegas, NV,
Financial Professional
When I read a book, I like the writing style to be simple, non-techy, and very relatable. That’s what makes it such a joy to get engulfed when I read material from Glen Alex. It’s like chatting with a friend over drinks about life in general, even in written form. She relates well by sharing personal stories with factual information that sort of makes me slap my own forehead and say, ‘Why didn’t I think about that?’ Enjoy....
— Aaron The Voice

Living in Total Health summarizes succinctly the multi-layered approach to wellness that Glen captures so deliberately in her book. Her poetic writings are a tribute to her life experiences. Looking at life through an open lens, Glen inspires a perspective of possibilities and practicalities to override what might ordinarily be interpreted as problems. She offers relatable stories with a universal message of gratitude, love, and connection. Living in ‘wellth’ is a goal we can all aspire to when we take time to care for the mental, physical, and emotional layers of our whole being.
— Sari Dennis, CHC, AADP, FFL, Health Coach, Author, Founder of My Wellness Counts, Las Vegas, NV
Glen Alex writes prolific truths for such a time as this. In this culture of skip the processes, her approach is refreshing and touching. The biological and energy processes she promotes allow us to live in magic. DNA and its messenger RNA allow us to tap into the energetic boundaries that are non-verbal. This opens us up to magical energy experiences and awareness. Is it logical? No. But it exists and is available to all. I call it Music, the Sound, and the Silence.
— Yvonne B. White, Retired Hospice Nurse, Charlotte, NC
I have had the privilege to work with Glen Alex directly and indirectly for more than five years. Her book Living in Total Health teaches how setting boundaries gives you honorable directives by which to serve while fulfilling your personal and professional objectives. When we have a greater understanding of our objectives, we can see a clearer purpose toward understanding others’ feeling and concerns. Living in Total Heath also explores how individual metabolic testing can help you get a grasp on your overall health and wellbeing needs. The magic within us helps us to discover goals with precise intentions. Glen will help you unleash that magic.
