About this ebook

You Are About To Discover How To Chart Your Own Path In Life To Be The Best Version Of Yourself And Not The Copycat That Society Might Have Influenced You To Believe!

Have you ever thought, "what if I became a villain", "what if I stopped allowing the society to control me and did my own thing?" "What if I lived by my own rules, standards and values and didn't have to give a hoot about what the society thought, how awesome would my life be?"

If we were honest, many people get these thoughts, but not many are courageous enough to act on them. We are so afraid of what people will think that we will stay within the confines of the society, an institution that cares less about who I am and who you are and more about some rules and standard practice.

Do you find yourself living in the bondage of people pleasing, doing things that you don't want to do, conflicting with your inner self for the happiness of others? Are you scared of living in your truth and pursuing your goals because you are afraid they might be deemed selfish? Too many people are living in the same way, because the society has conditioned us to live as heroes, acceptable and pleasing to everyone but ourselves. But that is no way to live.

You want out – is that why you are here? The fact that you are here means you've probably answered yes. But you don't know how to start to be this 'rebellious' as you would be quickly labeled. Also, you don't want to be the bad villain; the outright bad guy, the outlaw causing harm to themselves and others.

Does this sound like a description of a place you are at right now? Have you tried to walk in the ways of villainy only to fail and find yourself at the mercy of the very society you want to break free off?

You can find your freedom and be the good villain, the person who lives their life to the fullest, following their heart and their dreams, without being limited by the society. You can break out of the status quo to live life on your own terms, to become your own person and achieve your dreams.

This is a book about ethics of villainy, detailing the journey and code of conduct for a villain in a society rooted in conformity. Let this book teach you how to think for yourself, how to live as yourself and also how to look out for your own interests for your own wellness and that of others.

Let this book become your ultimate guide towards freedom from limiting thoughts and beliefs and those of others around you. Learn how to be independent and succeed in everything you put your mind to and also learn how to play by the rules so that you do not go astray.

You will learn:

  • To be self-interested without being selfish
  • How to take care of yourself, and achieve everything you set your mind to
  • To become an independent thinker
  • To callous the mind and grow a mind so strong that nothing and no one can break it
  • How to master the art of villainy and thrive in a society blinded by conformity
  • Much, much more!

First to my great uncle, Obie Flemming, who treated me like his own grandson for so long.

Then to James Alan Jackson in Clinton Jones, who both treated and taught me like their own sons.

Lastly, to my dear friends Jaden Butor and Sybrina, and Julio Arreaga, who consistently hyped me up while I worked on this book.

    Conclusion

    Introduction

Everyone is out here trying to be a hero. Society has set expectations that we should always be the hero in the story. You see, everyone likes a hero; they clap for the hero and sing praises. Who doesn't want to be liked, praised, and clapped for, especially in this world we live in? But the truth is, that is all the hero gets.

No one cares for the hero. They do not know what it takes to make the sacrifices and the price that had to be paid. These days people care more about appearances, what things look like, and not what goes on in the background.

The hero should appear strong. They should be helping, serving, and standing up for everyone else with a smile on their face. But often, the world does not want to acknowledge that the hero is human with needs and troubles too.

So they go home to fight their battles alone, and unfortunately, some end up in the abyss of depression which no one was keen enough to see them descending into. And then they are called weak, discredited, and forgotten because they broke and turned out to be human– for heroes are supposed to be unbreakable?

The opposite of the hero is the villain – the person that no one likes, that no one claps for or appreciates. This one is said to look out for themselves, their interests, and, yes, their wellbeing before they can lift up anyone else. Their wellness is a priority. And for this, they are called selfish.

The villain does not mind, for they are not on a world-saving mission. They are realists and do what they can for themselves and those they love. They will lash out at anyone and anything that comes between them and what they love. They cannot be put in a box, they are honest, and they go against the status quo and societal norms and expectations.

For this reason, they are not people the
