Crimson and Cream - Jaheim Wilder

    Honey

    SWEET LIKE HONEY

    Bitter like rain

I calculated the problem and it Was still wrong

Life is like a broken love song I remember the rose from 1994 I float on lily pads

    I dream on clouds

    Love inspires me

    Art intrigues me

    All my mistakes evolve me

    Let’s make art

    We are all blank canvases

    Play the piano

Singing Mary don’t you weep While singing the blues

As the smoke grows thicker Nina plays the piano

    Wild

    Is

    The

    Wind

Black is the color of my palette Where are the paintbrushes Painter

    Paint

    Me

    A

    Dream

    A black angel

    A black butterfly

    Where’s the paint

The melancholy is in the art

The art is in my soul

    I am the art

    The art is me

We are intertwined by love Spun like gold

    Sewed piece by piece on

    The quilt of life

    Roses grow from my secret

    Garden Only

I Know How To Tend To

    It.

Black gold melts and Flows like milk and honey On the promised land Which I yearn for

    Like a fortune cookie

    I’m a shell

    But

    Inside

    Lies

    My

    Raison

    D’ être

    Crimson Shades

I BUY RED PAINT FOR my lips,

    Bright red

    Crimson shades

    Fake furs keep me warm

    My silence isn't quiet

    Silent screams and muffled tears

    They smother me

I wake up and can’t breathe

    Anger suffocates me

    Pain intoxicates me

A cocktail of hurt comforts me

My anger cannot be washed down with a glass of water

I cannot offer it to Jesus

I cannot leave it at the altar

    It cannot be buried

    It cannot be drunk away

    It cannot be eaten away

    It cannot sleep away

I release it unto the world

My pandora’s box of pain and envy
