Introduction
I was in your shoes not too long ago. I was a religious conservative student trying to complete my education at a liberal California university.
I was outnumbered by professors and students who, at best, simply disagreed with my opinions, but at worst, viewed me as a domestic terrorist.
I would’ve been summarily cancelled had I stood up in class and defended the sanctity of life or opposed the Dogma of Gender Fluidity.
To set the record straight, I loved my professors and classmates, however imperfectly at times. I even befriended some of them. I say this because this book isn’t about frightening you with the Liberal Boogeyman. It’s not even about making people with liberal beliefs the enemy.
Instead, it’s about prudently navigating your way through tough situations that may arise while you’re in college. And let’s face it, it’s unpopular to be conservative on college campuses, and many conservatives don’t feel welcome there.
In an age when humble dialogue and mutual respect have been cast aside in favor of vilification and one-upmanship, you may think it’s difficult to make it through college without feeling tempted to lie about your opinions or compromise your beliefs.
But this doesn’t have to be the case.
