A global pandemic, runaway inflation, food shortages, social and political upheaval, wars of aggression, rampant crime, climate change, and financial wrongdoing are among the major challenges we have faced in what seems to be one of the craziest periods in human history. We may seek to eliminate or at least mitigate these ills. However, we are aware of powerful forces that profit from political and social unraveling. Therefore, for many of us, the means of reversing or even merely containing such trends may be too formidable to contemplate.
While we await discovery of effective antidotes to these pressing issues, I propose,
