Donté Jones was raised mostly in Hampton, Virginia until the age of seventeen when he made a fatal decision that changed the trajectory of many lives.Sentenced to life without parole for a crime committed as a juvenile he was cast away never to be seen or heard from again. That is, until he began to educate himself, changed his thinking and actions, and later began to speak and write in a most profound way.Currently twenty-one years into his sentence, Donté also known by his righteous name Lord Knowledge, became a guiding light for positive change in an increasingly negative and destructive environment. Though he is keenly aware that a life lost (physically) cannot be regained. He seeks to awaken those suffering from a mental death (miseducation and poor decisions) by challenging them to change their perspective. Each day , Donté strives to live a righteous way of life and to reach at least one person and motivate them to be better. He is now a published author, poet, essayist, self-improvement advocate, motivational speaker, peacemaker, and more.
