This is Poetry at its best! Same blood, same flesh and same chemical composition. We breathe, we eat, we think and we feel. Our only difference is PRECEPTION!!! The way in which we view people, places and things based on what we know and how we feel and/or have felt. The glass can be half full and/or half empty. Growth and development comes in stages: as children, we see in black in white; as young adults, we see in black, white and grey; and as Men & Women, we see the never ending various shades of colors. The more I learn, the less I realized I know. Over the years I found that it seems everyone would like things to go their way. So it started to make sense why my plans didnt always work out! Thats about the time I learned: to role with the punches in life; to make the best of everything; to always breathe easy; and what I feel is most important was the ability to lose small. My book is a lot of deep thoughts, self reflection, over years of studies. I dont believe that emotions should have the right to override intellect. The mind controls the body, so I think and I dare you to think also. The choices we make are based on what we want and/or feel we need to. Your choices are yours and they may or may not affect my life, but consequences come with all choices choose wisely. Just know that you chose conscious or not. INTRODUCTION

Wow . . . this was 16 years in the making, and failures were a constant. In a harsh environment-under extreme situations where most just abide there time to be released, learning was a must. It was a journey . . . easy was a word that never came to mind. Lose small, was always my first thought. That understanding allowed me to win at everything!!!

Now, I’m really publishing some of my thoughts, following my hopes, dreams and visions. Hopefully to be inspiring and motivational for others. Wow, it’s always harder to finish something than it is to start. Yes, I had doubts about letting you know what I’ve been thinking over the last decade & a half plus years. It’s hard enough being honest with ourselves about our inadequacies but I’ve had the pleasure of sharing myself with the WORLD. I know that half of the people reading this won’t like it or finish it and everyone will judge it.

In my imperfection, I am PERFECT and you don’t have to like it. Try doing inventory on yourself and see how far you get. It won’t always be nice, appropriate, or respectful. We all go through stuff . . . make the best, cry and complain but life goes on. I am who I am because of the things that I went through!!! At one time I believed in GOD, today I can say that I know GOD, without Doubt.

Thank You for taking the time to OPEN YOUR MIND, to See As Eye See. No matter your situation, know that it gets better.

When someone wants the Truth, they start a journey. They search, they gather information, they study the facts and investigate further still. My growth seems to be a Phenomenon, that’s Irreversibly Spectacular! That sounds great, don’t it??? Well I’m not that great, but I have grown up a lot in an unbelievable situation. This book was therapy for myself. It’s my way of venting all my Thoughts, Actions & Emotions over the years. I was told, I am what I eat. By writing I can get a better look at myself from the inside out. On the rise to becoming the Man, I was born to be!

To survive in any Environment you must adapt, but who is to say that the transformation we go through will be appropriate to live in another??? And depending on the extent that we are willing to go to, to survive Physically, we might assassinate ourselves, Emotionally & Mentally. Yeah, remember Old dogs can’t learn new tricks! That change could be permanent . . . Or we will become stronger than we would have ever dreamed of! "I Rose then fell, but only to Rise again!!!"

Now as a Black Man in growth, he can now define, A Real Man!
