- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love this book because the author was very genuine, and the words resonated with me. I highly recommend you read this book if you are struggling emotionally. I also recommend that you read it if you aren't going through anything because you'll be able to spot others who may be feeling weighed down, and you can help them. If you follow the practical guidance that within each chapter, and truly mediate on the Word, you will find yourself free from emotional baggage. I had to come back and update my review after months of repetitive practice and I can say that I have been blessed in my personal and professional life. Doors have opened for me because I haven't allowed the devil or his influence through "available" people to throw me off or make me resort to how I once processed unpleasant behaviors, comments, or actions from others.
