Introduction
Waiting can be a chore for someone who is impatient or anxious to either receive a gift or demonstrate a service of gratitude. To have been shared a great prophecy of good news and then challenged to wait on it to mature, can cause great anxiety to anyone. However, the reward far outweighs the length of time invested in achieving what’s been promised. In my book, Worth the Wait,
I will encourage readers to value their wait time and prepare for the much needed, sought after, acquired promise. So many times we have in view the receipt and overlook the purchase. To acquire first, demands a sought out plan on how to achieve what’s in view. With proper sought out reason, a good investment will always be worthwhile. The time rendered can become a breathtaking adventure to gather the desired target. We have often heard, Anything worth having is worth waiting for.
But how many people actually know how to wait? God initially spoke to me that being without doesn’t necessarily mean one is waiting. To wait is patiently being in pursuit, while allowing God to bring it to pass. We must learn how to stand on His word, and allow faith to grasp our minute minds so we can boldly speak and hope for change to come. Embracing this principle is rearranging our natural point of view into a spiritual realm of perception. Transformation in the mind is essential to healing of the soul. We must be taught to alter our thinking from the natural aspects to a spiritual understanding, with a renewed mind. Believers must understand the strength that derives from having patience to wait on the promises of God to be fulfilled. Having confidence in His word, strengthens our heart to hope with anticipation and wait assuredly knowing the promises are sure. To help you better understand the process and importance of waiting, I would like to share an itemized sequence of detailed instructions that will enable the believer in you to focus on obedience to God’s word daily. The first step is to be willing. To obtain one must be able to endure and ready to fight for what you perhaps might not see possible of coming to pass. As believers, having hope triggers the heart to pump faith into the soul which feeds the vision. God’s children must exhibit faith in Him by allowing the trials to position them to give birth to their promise. A word of encouragement, ‘Don’t abort the promise.’ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
(Habakkuk 2:3) We must learn to live our lives to the extreme measure of exemplifying faith. Taking the limits off our carnal mentality and releasing our spiritual appetite awakens our God conscience to be activated. Daily we must allow God to orchestrate our paths, impregnating a vision of promise, coupled with patience. Through longsuffering our character is shaped into the jewel that God can find glory. As He look inside us, His image is reflected for all to see. God is willing to give you double for your trouble, but you first must be willing to wait (Willingly Allow Intimate Time). Spiritual growth comes after processing the procedure outlined in my book, and daily application of biblical analysis you have received. Watch God engraft newness of mind, humbleness of heart, and a renewed soul. This concept will make you always mindful that yes, the trials, experiences, lonely nights, trying times, and difficult storms are well worth the wait to having true happiness and joy unspeakable through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It’s not for debate,
You just must learn how to wait.
A prayer is a request,
And God shall do the rest.
Upon your knees when you pray
All you have to say,
Is your heart’s desire
And immediately, you have a hire.
For God begins to work on your behalf,
He is equipped with many already on staff.
Angels of protection, Angels of concern
My son, my daughter all you must do is learn.
Learn to trust Him, obey Him too
His word is O so very true.
One you can stand on and rely,
Don’t take my word, it’s time for you to try
Step out on Faith, He will do the rest,
Come on, it’s time to walk in Victory and Pass the Test.
The test of character, courage, and honesty too
He has done it for me and can do it for you.
So be encouraged and learn how to wait,
He will bring all mountains low and make the crooked paths straight.
Time is nothing for Him, because He lives in Eternity
So don’t limit what is truly meant to be!
Take the limits off, Pick up your Cross,
He died so many souls wouldn’t be lost.
You are a prayer answered so continue to pray more,
For it will be well ‘Worth the Wait’ when we live forevermore!
CHAPTER 1
Are You Willing to Wait?
Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is he weary? There is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint,
(Isaiah 40:28- 31).
This scripture serves as the core origin of the contents of this book. I can remember for nearly over a year, I would quote this scripture out loud daily at the beginning of my day. Speaking aloud repetitiously brings the mind in agreement with the heart. The hearing triggers faith to be born. Once the mouth speaks what the heart desires, a connection has been made to bring forth life, create order and cancel chaos.
Salvation enters into the heart of the believer simply by first believing. Secondly, by confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus was raised from the dead. (Romans 10:8-10) The foundation for building great communication and feedback should alert and prepare all involved, the course the relationship will take. Speaking and declaring is giving life to what originates in the mind. This process will cause the spoken word to take root in the heart, springing forth fruit into the life of a believer.
Our thoughts are not His thoughts, neither is His ways our ways. (Isaiah 55:8) However, our mind becomes systematically aligned to believing the promises of God by outwardly confessing what is written in the word of God. Whenever a believer speaks what they have read, they immediately become a candidate for a miracle. When the word reside in our hearts and proceed from our mouth, it does a work inside of us that God takes notice of.
We have the authority to call those things that be not as though they were. (Romans 4:17) God has given us a great promise. We must obtain the power to manifest the promise He desires to release. Speaking the word of God activates faith to demonstrate what’s been spoken. Faith in practice isn’t based on sight, but belief.
