    Book Overview

America: Imagine a World without Her by Dinesh D’Souza reveals, from a conservative point of view, how the policies of America are being shaped by the influence of progressive thinking on the government. Mainstream progressives believe that America came to be as a result of theft. They believe the land used to settle America was stolen from Native American Indians and from the Hispanics in Mexico. Then the labor of African slaves was stolen to help build and settle the country and make it into what it has become today. Similarly, they claim that American Indians and Hispanics living in America are better off by living in the capitalist society of the United States than if they lived elsewhere or under a different government system.

Successful entrepreneurs are the ones who have empathy for others and can see their needs. They meet those needs by creating a new product or service. The entrepreneurs are then rewarded by the people purchasing their new product or service. America’s economy became strong because
