Foreword
Helping people regain their health and vitality with massage, nutrition and natural medicine has been a part of my life for many years.
Through Nancy’s tuition and guidance in 1996 I achieved the skills and confidence to open my own Massage Practice.
Many people have given positive feedback that their health and wellbeing has increased due to regular massage, better nutrition and a holistic approach to life.

10% received from any of my products is currently going towards raising much needed funds of AU$10,000 to provide a clean, drinking-water well at an orphanage in remote East Timor.
Because life rotates around and with water I have sourced a most worthy cause indeed run be the Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters of Immaculate Conception in Timor-Leste. Sister Shalini oversaw the building process as project manager and now runs the orphanage with the assistance of five novices providing for up to sixty children. Currently there is a lengthy daily walk to collect water for their survival at Tunibibi village, about twenty kilometres from Balibo.
My friend Dina, who I know as always assisting wherever she saw a need referred me to Susanna Pearson of Mission Beach, Queensland, Australia. Mission Beach Rotary Club currently funds shipping containers to Dili that are filled with material donations collected by Susanna for distribution to remote villages. The gift of fresh water is our first life-saving miracle. The next is natural food, then working at a job we love doing and when there is overload in our body, we turn to healing techniques and positive thoughts. Please understand the metaphysics of your body and enjoy this edition.

These proven methods that release pain from within the body have resulted in sharing this knowledge now in The Australian Advanced and Metaphysical Massage. Practitioners continue to apply these techniques today and there are many who may like to extend their current mode of operation by taking advantage of these methods.
In the advanced massage techniques, Part One, Chapters One to Five, where you see the name of a muscle, bone, tendon or ligament that you have no idea of what it is and where it is, simply look up one of the anatomy diagrams until you locate it in Part Two, Chapters Two and Three or you may already have a good anatomical reference book or precisely drawn anatomy chart that you can use to find it much more readily and in colourful detail. If you are a massage practitioner, I recommend a detailed wall chart is located within eyesight of the professional couch for easy referencing.
Part Two also gives basic introductions to Kinesiology, Lymphatic Massage and Reflexology.
Discover the best positive affirmations in Part Three, Chapter Two for relieving back tension. There is a Metaphysical exercise for each vertebra offering the initial creation of good experiences or the awareness of how to begin a new approach to life. This initiates the letting go process of a past negative thought that has been implanted into the subconscious mind of the sufferer. Nerves from one vertebra may be responsible for pain in a number of other areas so it stands to reason that releasing the tension from one vertebra can also start releasing pressure that is elsewhere in the body. It works in most cases.
The body mirrors inner thoughts and beliefs and the body is always responding to them. We need to take time to listen to what our bodies are telling us because every cell responds to every thought we think and every word that vibrates within our bodies as they depart from our lips. The next time you have a headache, if you ask yourself, Where have I just made myself feel wrong?
or the next time you cough, if you ask yourself, What have I just said that my body knows is negative and doesn’t like what is heard for its wellbeing?
or the next time you have a cold, if you ask yourself, Is there too much going on all at once in my life that is producing mental confusion or congestion?
or the next time you sneeze, if you ask yourself, What or who is irritating me?
you will discover your mind knows what or who we allowed to have created the problem. I believe there is something negative going on for an illness to be created or to manifest whether that be from this life time or a past life (more commonly known as hereditary).
When saying a new positive declaration and there is a reaction of disbelief, this shows where there is a problem in your life that needs to be mentally fixed before your new positive statement can become a living reality. We can see how much we resist our greatest lesson at the moment. It may express as anger. If there is no resistance to a positive declaration then there is no lesson to learn. Overcoming resistance to the positive new, then letting go of the negative old that has not worked for us are mental tools that allow us to power on into our future. Life is very simple. What we give out comes back to us multiplied. Simply saying with lots of meaning what good we want in our life begins our preparation of receiving more good in life and it comes to us from the Divine power in our Universe.
When a positive statement has been voiced, the body begins the letting go process, therefore allowing the positive new to enter. If you are a practitioner you will eventually hear the receiver’s pain actually leaving their body after you quote the positive affirmation that relates to the specific area in pain. Then the new, positive declaration needs to be quoted by the receiver, giving their own body permission to move forward and be free to heal.
Throughout the past twenty-eight years I had three colds or flu. Each came as a result of being ‘over-stressed’, i.e. run-down by over-commitments and there just was not enough supply of the nutrients necessary to keep my body up to them all. I do not believe we ‘catch’ anything from someone or something else. It is our body’s reaction to our thinking process that creates blockages, or its way of coping with an overabundance of bodily toxic substances. Listening to stress-relieving meditations no more than once daily or at times when feeling in a state of extreme stress, which we now know for the most part is created from the fear of not being good enough, resolved any problems and changed life for the better. I created meditations that worked best for me and these are also on-line available.
To be able to perform the following movements you will need to know how to perform The Australian Massage which is available as a book and e-book, and The Australian Massage Therapy DVD (revamped from a 1990 video production with film and sound quality of that era).
Even if you do not apply any of the advanced massage movements that are in this manual, and you do understand the metaphysical side of your life this will be a valuable asset for your future good health and relationships, self-esteem, job success and prosperity. Prepare for applying The Australian Massage of the Back.
Standing on the right side of the couch, place a large towel smoothly over the receiver’s upper torso, ensuring to cover the upper legs. Make certain the towel is free of wrinkles and creases. For added comfort, place a rolled towel under the ankles, raising them, enabling the feet to be more relaxed.
Lightly glide your middle fingers, one after the other, down the spine, evenly and repeatedly, gently lifting off where the curve of the lower back rises, five times each. This gentle, rhythmic movement begins body balancing, producing immediate ease. The receiver may even feel a gentle tingling sensation at the back of the head. When you maintain constant flowing movements from beginning to end there will always be a balanced result from every move.
