Prayers that Ignite Change for New Believers: 31 Days of Corporate Prayer: Prayers that Ignite Change, #3
()
About this ebook
As believers in Christ, prayer is one of the most critical facets of Christian living. Growing in the knowledge of the Lord and daily exercising our faith in Him through prayer increases our spiritual strength. In Prayers that Ignite Change for New Believers, Shawntel Jefferson exhorts new believers to pray purposefully and fervently from an apostolic perspective: We are a House of prayer. Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ being the Chief Cornerstone, believers are commissioned to pray for one another and humanity. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, you can answer this call by standing for truth, justice, righteousness, and the overall well-being of others. It starts with praying as the Church: One Body, one faith, one Spirit, and one mind.

Introduction
Welcome to the Kingdom of God! Life as you have come to know it has changed. In fact, you have changed. You are not who you were. You are not what you were. No longer do you have to feel as though fear, guilt, or a negative past will dominate your life.
You are no longer beneath; You are above. You are blessed. You are not weird but extraordinary. Your life is hidden in Christ and true success is possible. You are now the redeemed of the Lord, a child of God, and a disciple of Jesus Christ.
What do I do now that I am saved? As a new believer, you can do many things. While knowledge, understanding, and wisdom are to be sought daily your greatest responsibility is to love, honor, and obey God. That may sound daunting but you can do it if you keep it simple...love Him with all your mind, body, and soul. The best way to do this is through a dedication to living a life of prayer and worship.
Prayer is communication with God. In the Old Testament, God's people were not allowed to speak directly to Him. Now as children of God we can boldly approach God through prayer.
