The urban dictionary defines bounce-back as, to make a comeback after falling off your empire; to just get back in the game.
In order to achieve the result of either definition, it will require that you take a seat at the table of transformation. Now let’s unpack that statement.
Transformation involves intentionally making changes that will yield a high return for a better life. It means that you give yourself permission to experience some elements of pain, while you grow, heal, and transform into a better you. Many people never achieve their bounce-back because they will not walk through the broken pieces. Broken pieces? Yes. Transforming into something beautiful is often ugly and painful before it gets better. Hence, the broken pieces. Broken pieces represent: self-doubt, fear, resentment, failure, loss, pain, grief, and broken hearts just to name a few.
Understand this: In order to Bounce Back to a Better You, you must trust every step of the transformation process. I had the pleasure of guiding and witnessing Dr. Kelly Wood’s journey and process two years ago.
