It also has the potential of ability development. As an applied technique, qigong is used to heal the sick. This is the most popular application if qigong today. There are still more actions we know through the study of qi. In the practice of qigong, the mind of the practitioner must focus inwards to regulate the physical functions of the body and regulate the internal qi(physical qi /vital energy) of oneself. In the qi practice, the practitioner is in a special state called Qigong State which compounds the natural qi (universal force) into his/her internal qi by the will power of him/herself. It is a mental—physical condition of the human being.
In traditional China, the methods of qigong had been kept in the six fields of Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Chinese
