About this ebook

What is the perfect man? Is there such a person? Faith would have said no, would have argued that even a saint has flaws, defects. She has given up hope of ever finding a man that can live up to her expectations. That is until James and his namesake come into her life. One is perfection personified, too good to be true. The other has all the weaknesses of the common man. Does she want a robotic yes man who agrees with everything she says, or one who is anything but perfect? Can a simple kiss be the answer to this confusing conundrum? That is the question, but what is the answer?

    Chapter One

Faith stopped the car, turned off the engine, leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes. What on earth have I let myself in for? she moaned. It had only been days since her immediate boss at the firm she worked for had called her into his office and asked her how she felt about taking a three month holiday with the use of a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales in exchange for a little research work. She had jumped at the chance but wanted to know what the catch was.

Why me, Mr. Turner? What have I done to deserve a three months holiday? On full pay I presume, she added.

No catch, Ms. Davis, the only thing the firm asks in return, is for you to send us a weekly report on our latest project.

"Faith had a good idea what the latest project was, she knew the back room boys, as they were referred to, had been working for the best part of a year on a robot, one that so far no one, apart from those working in the back room, had seen.

She switched the engine back on, put the car into first gear and moved off. The road to the cottage was rutted and potholed, something she hadn’t been warned about. The cottage was off the beaten track and remote with not another building in sight, and although there was no garage, there was plenty of parking space directly in front of the place.

On arrival, Faith pulled up, switched off the engine, and dragged herself wearily out of the car.

The drive from Nottingham to the Yorkshire Dales had been a
