Within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your position and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand, just as you used to do when you were his cupbearer. Genesis 40:13

The above statement was made by Joseph to the Chief Cupbearer of Pharaoh who was in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, the same prison where Joseph was confined.

The imprisonment altered the life of the cupbearer who was once a Centre figure in the palace of Pharaoh. The cupbearer was extremely lucky to come across someone versed in dream interpretations. His dream was accurately interpreted and it came to pass. His destiny which was at the verge of destruction was restored.

Back to our earlier discussion, as the Chief cupbearer of Pharaoh, his head was above most heads in the palace, as a result of the position he held in the palace. He had a colourful destiny as a senior palace official until he offended the King.

As a prisoner, it means his head was lowered to zero level, while his release from the dungeon to office suggests victory over odds. Evil forces may succeed to cut a head or replace it with another in the spirit. Once this is done the victim finds it difficult to fulfill his destiny because it has been altered in the spirit. HEAD IS THE LIFE WIRE OF EXISTENCE

This is the song of Deborah after the defeat and death of Sisera leader of the arch enemy of Israel. An unknown woman Jael, wife of Heber killed Sisera who took cover under her. Ordinarily it is unlikely for a woman to kill a strongman in the like of Sisera, but Jael aimed his head and crushed it.

The first death sentence was the curse God pronounced on the serpent, after it put to test Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve fell to Satan, while Adam fell by eating the forbidden fruit, his wife Eve gave him to eat. God cursed serpent in this manner.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

God knew that when the head is crushed, death is imminent, because head is the life wire of existence. It is possible to see a person going about without complete pair of eyes, ears, nose, arms or legs, but it is difficult or impossible to see a man going about without a head. Your head on your neck determines you as a living soul as long as you breathe. I have never seen or heard of a medical doctor that attends to a patient without a head. Doctor doesn’t attend to such patient. In fact, anyone brought to the hospital without a head automatically becomes candidate of mortuary.

The simple rule of existence is, No head, No life. I pray that your life wire of existence shall not be cut either in the spirit or in the physical, Amen. For this reason, whenever you dream that your head is severed in the dream, you must go into aggressive prayer to recover it by fire.

Such dream is bad as it can lead to untimely death, and or, total paralysis of existence in your finance. Life flows with the existence of the head. Thus, you are counted alive because your head is in place.
