About this ebook

The head is the engine control power house of the body with enormous and fantastic functions. If it ceases to work or performs poorly, the body is useless. To avoid this, the body needs constant spiritual and and physical checkups.

To live long and be in great shape we should have away to communicate with God, our sole Creator.

This we can do through prophesy by applying appropriate spiritual antidotes against wicked powers that may ‘eat up’ the Head and turn it useless. This can be addressed with this destiny changing book.

I pray as you prophesy good things into your life this day, you shall experience wonder working power of Jesus.
Amen.

LEADERSHIP AND HEADSHIP

To be the head of a place, office or home signifies many times, leadership. It also means a sense of direction with moral compass to navigate a nation and people. If a nation lacks it, people resort to living by their own non-standards, the constitution being damned. It is in the like of the days of the judges when Israel had no King. In those days Israel had no King; everyone did as he saw Judges 17:6. In such situation, the nation lacks social conscience, where anything goes. It becomes a place where there is no guiding moral standard. Such nation becomes a laughing stock in the comity of nations.

Since head is also the cerebral of the body, to lack a head means to lack thought. Therefore, a country ruled by mere figurehead is like a country without head and without dream. The language of such country is always consumption with little taught for tomorrow. They hardly foresee, and when they look ahead, they don’t see vision for the state. They are like animals in the wild rainforest that exist for the temporal present only. Their gods are, as the Bible would say, their stomach, and it must be worshipped.

One focal point we should understand about leadership is, there could never be a good leadership without good following. What I mean is, everyone is involved in leadership matter. Masses should be involved as well.

If we talk about good leadership, we should also talk about good followers. If we talk about human rights, we should also talk about human duties and obligations. As a person, when you perform your duties and obligations well, government machinery will work. All blames should not be shifted to leaders alone. You and I have roles to play.

The question is, whether our leaders wanted development or power. The truth of the matter is; African leaders are mad for power. They love sit tight attitude in office even when their ruling pattern has become obsolete. Their attitudes of gross embezzlement of national funds led to unprecedented unemployment among youths. Unemployment is a bomb that has exploded and manifested itself in hunger, violent attacks, crimes and killings.

FUNCTIONAL HEADS AND LEADERSHIP

Functional heads are those that head homes, organization, nation or state. Functional heads can be grouped into micro or macro heads. The head of a family can be regarded as a micro head while the head of a nation can be called a macro leader.

The head of a family is referred to as a breadwinner of the family. He is consulted before any major decision is taken in the home. He is a decision maker and financier of the home. He pilots the home to expected Promised Land. For this reason; he must be sound in mind and heart. Most times, wherever his pendulum swings, the family follows.

At the other end, the head of a nation is a person given power and authority to rule his country. A sound leader with quality manifestoes and ability to execute them makes his country shine and secured; morally, politically, socially, religiously and economically. In a democratic set up, the performance of a president in most cases is barely separated from the performance of the government.

Every citizen expects good governance from his leader. A president’s performance can be gauged by his priorities, and how he manages the nation’s resources. He may also be appraised by the way and manner in which he tackles contending issues, and how he responds to the elites and power centre within the nation’s political estate, such as his relationship with the other arms of government, like the judiciary and the parliament.

The president mustn’t be the type that climb the ladder rung to the top and forget all about the masses that brought him about. He shall be judged by the way his government treats the poor, the needy and the disenfranchised and how he responds to national and international issues.

One of the most defining yardsticks is whether or not he responds to the dictates of the vast majority of the people. By this, one should be able to point to his significant achievements. Citizens should know the degree of certainty of his polices and what his leadership ideologies are. The president should be in position to know what the people want or what the nation needs. He must not be one that does things by trial and error, or in an abhor manner.

The president should be one who knows what he wants or needs, and what the nation wants as well. He should therefore endeavour to fulfill his campaign promises. On seat, he should know the fundamentals of government and governance. He should not be a person that isolates himself from the people. Hence, he should endeavour to mingle with all strata in the society and not one that treats himself as a thin God. He should mingle with market women, low level civil servants, farmers, industrialists,
