Welcome to Astrology for Cats, an introduction into the way the stars influence the behaviour of our fury companions. Through the combination of Western and Chinese Astrology, a more in depth personality profile can be determined for your cat.

Chinese Astrology has been practiced for 2000 years and continues to have an influential following today.

When Chinese and Western Astrology come together they produce a more accurate and realistic interpretation of the characteristics and personality traits that define all of us, including the family cat.

Responsible for most of your cats traits, their astrological sign determines whether your cat likes water, eats dog food, spends more time with the neighbours or serenades the full moon each month.

The following pages provide a brief description of each year in Chinese Astrology and the animals these years are represented by. You may be pleasantly surprised at the insight and understanding these interpretations provide for the fury members of your household.

Example:

If your cat was born on July 7, 2005, it will be a Cancerian Monkey.

Their personality traits will influence the usually quiet Cancerian and they will be more mischievous, more adventurous and more outgoing than a Cancerian born in the year of the Ox.

If your cat was born on Feb 15, 2001, it will be an Aquarian Dragon. One who is most likely a little ‘left field’ probably a little eccentric, and a stubborn defender of everything happening according to their routine.

Our fury companions have their own interpretation and application of the zodiac, this translation has been documented on behalf of the domestic cat, in the hope that we may move a little bit closer to better understanding and appreciating them.
