The Mermaid's Curse - Ed Russo
The Mermaid’s Curse
She stood there in the shadows, waiting for something. The cold look in her eyes gave me the shivers, for there is a definite evil in her eyes. I sure hope that what I see is only my imagination, for if it’s not, then we are shit out of luck. Because she is the messenger of death, for she is death itself.

Chapter 1: The Song of the Siren
June 12, 2006
Eric Sanders lives in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. He enjoys fast women and the lifestyle in the fast lane. Since he recently became a Witch he has thought at times that maybe the fast way of life isn't worth it. Maybe there is more to life. There is one girl that he met a few years ago that he pines over. There is something about this girl named Rona that he met awhile ago.
It is not so much as love, though he loved her. It is a form of lust that he never experienced with anyone before. He has been with plenty of women. Most of the women were fast women, but none of them has given him the experience that Rona have.
He met Rona Fisher over a friend's house. Eric was visiting his friend Dave when Rona was there visiting her boyfriend Jared at the time. When Rona waited in the living room with Eric while she waited for Jared to come out of his bedroom, she and Eric would slightly flirt with each other. Sometime shortly Rona has moved on while she left Jared. No one knows what happened, but Jared till this day still pines over Rona. After she left Jared, Eric ran into her a few blocks from there and they shortly started to date. Because Eric didn't stop the fast lifestyle that he was living, Rona moved on and moved back to her hometown which is in Johnstown, Pa.
6 years ago, January 10, 2000
On route 28, Eric is driving and sees a green ball of light with a purplish tail zipping pass in the sky. At the moment he feels a chill go through his spine as he felt the presence of being watched. He has no idea what that thing was in the sky. He just kept driving until he reached the exit 13 which takes him to New Kensington. Without him realizing it, this bright ball of light slammed down into the river below the Tarentum Bridge.
Eric finally makes it home. That night he had strange dreams. First he dreamt that when he started to step outside he looked up and noticed the sky was black with thick black clouds circling counterclockwise and in the center of the black swirl is an opening like a portal of some kind. This frightened him so he went back inside and then he had a false awakening as he looked up at the ceiling and saw water on the ceiling which is enough to be in a pool. It defied the laws of gravity. The ceiling looked like a pool, and then it started moving like it had a mind of its own. Eric lies in the bed a little scared.
Next the water came gushing down on him. He started gasping for air as he thought he was going to drown. The room filled with water as he struggled for his life. Next he sat up quickly on his bed shocked and relieved that it was only a dream.
For the most part Eric was a Christian. Things like this shook his beliefs and over the next 6 years he gradually fell from Christianity and now embraces Wicca, a form of modern Witchcraft. It was just three years later after this incident when he met Rona Fisher whose family comes from Russia and Ukraine who he thinks about often.
Mermaids are sea nymphs and mermaid means Sea Maiden. The Merfolk who are both Mermen and Mermaids have a culture that is quite different than the world of humans. Actually the Merfolk see that humans are nothing but food and playthings.
They would sing an enchanting song and seduce humans and feed from the human's life essence leaving them drained. After they toy with the human, they would just move on to seduce the next prey. This is the life of the Merfolk, they live for it. In some languages such as in Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese the word for mermaid is Siren and Sirena. The Merfolk has been on this earth for thousands of years. They originated from the star Sirius from the constellation Canis Major from the planet Terrapin, which is a water planet. There is no land except a few rocks that protrude out of the water.
Under the water is sea life and underwater cities. Within the cities are temples where the Merfolk go to worship the Atargatis within. Atargatis is symbolic of the divine within and when the Merfolk came to earth they first settled in Assyria in 1000 BCE and the Assyrian queen Semiramis who ruled at the time was half Mermaid herself.
Her father was a human mortal and her mother a Mermaid. Interbreeding was done between the humans and Merfolk to create god-humans who are of royal blood or princely offspring. Her name was a Hellenized form of Akkadian name Sammur-amat (gift of the sea
) and is the word which the word Sumer derives from, and in Hebrew it is Shinar the biblical name for lower Mesopotamia. Semiramis who was King Nimrod’s consort ruled Babylon after Nimrod’s death. Semiramis was the model and origin of every goddess and female cult figure in the ancient and modern worlds. The events about her, Nimrod and her son is the groundwork for all of the pagan religious systems of antiquity. It was the Merfolk who taught the earth natives agriculture and how to write and read. All Civilization is a product of the Merfolk, all art, sciences, and all the advances the human has, been given by the Merfolk.
The planet Terrapin got to the point of where it's unable to support life and the Merfolk evacuated their world and came to hearth. They have the ability to travel through time and space. So traveling through time as well as space, they came to earth at different times through history. They traveled to different parts of the world at different times even though they all evacuated their world at the same time. One place they landed is in the Tarentum River in year 2000 CE. Another place is in 1977 during the Johnstown flood in Pennsylvania. Did they have something to do with the flood? No one knows.
The Present, June 12, 2006
Inside the Elks’ club in New Kensington, a man sits at the bar drinking a beer. A woman on the dance floor catches his interest. The woman is tall with blonde hair and she is aware that she has caught his eye.
She walks over to him and says,
Hi, how ya doing? So why are ya here alone tonight?
asked the woman.
Hi, can I get you a drink?
asked the man.
Sure,
says the woman. After they talk and he buys her a couple of drinks.
My name is Jake, nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too,
says the woman.
Eric is out driving around Monday night looking for a girl.
I can't believe no one is out tonight. No hookers, no one., except that one I saw standing on Third Avenue and I'm not going there, she looks like death becomes her.
Eric thinks to himself. I’ll check out the Elks and then if no luck there, I guess I'll call it a night.
Eric decides to drive around a few times before he goes to the Elks.
The mysterious woman and Jake decided to leave the Elks and goes to his apartment, which isn't that far from the club. This woman couldn't wait to embrace his rock hard body. To kiss him all over as she would taste his salty sweat and fill her nose with his every intimate smell.
In the bedroom Jake and the woman get undressed. Jake is very aroused by looking at her firm body and long legs. When he makes eye contact with the woman he feels like she is boring deep into his mind. He couldn't look away even if he wanted to. She lies down on her back on the bed and he leaned down on top of her to kiss her. As he started kissing her and entered his member into her he felt as if the room was starting to spin. She felt a surge of power as she drained the life essence from this man. He rolled over and fell limp on the bed. She got what she wanted and put her clothes on and left out the door leaving his listless body on the bed.
Eric went into the Elks just right after the mysterious woman left out with her date. He sees no one in the bar that he is interested in after sitting at the bar drinking a few drinks. He looks around and sees that most of the girls that are decent looking are paired off with a boyfriend. There are a few girls who are single and he sees why.
Ugh, she looks like a giraffe and the other girl looks like a hippo. I'm certainly not going there. I just think I’ll call it in for tonight.
Eric thinks and then gets up from the bar stool and walk out the door.
Jake finally woke up after passing out on the mysterious woman. He looks around his bedroom and he sees that she is gone. He longs for her; he doesn't understand why he wants her so bad.
Oh gosh, where is she? I never experienced anything like this before. She's the bomb. I got to find out how to get back in touch with her.
Jake thinks. While Jake was with mysterious woman he felt pleasure on a level that he never felt before with a human being.
The whole experience was intense, he felt pleasure throughout his entire being and when he reached a orgasm he experienced a feeling of bliss that washed over him and right before he loss consciousness the thought that came to him was,
This is the joy and pleasure that all seeks.
At this moment Jake is exhausted and listless as though his life essence has been drained from him. He doesn't have the energy to even get dressed to even begin to search for the mysterious woman.
The mermaid has her fill for tonight. She is filled with the life essence that she drained from the guy named Jake that she met earlier.
Such playthings these humans are. Out here in New Kensington is much more fun than Johnston. My family even thought of going back to Ukraine. The Russians and Ukrainians call us the Rulsaki,
the mermaid thinks. Why go back there? I never been to Ukraine before, but I remember my mother told me about how the Pagans knew about us and paid honor to what they called the Rulsaki, which the Americans that believe us to be only a myth calls us mermaids or merfolk,
the mermaid thinks as she enters a building of Valley Royal Court. She enters into the building; the hallway of the building has mail boxes lined up with names and apartment numbers on it for the tenants. Her mailbox has the number 206 on it with the last name Fisher on the box.
Eric Sanders leaves the Elks and decides to go home. Well in almost a week, I'll be making a trip out of town to make some money while dating. So I could wait till then to fuck and get paid for it, instead of paying any of these girls out here. Fuck that.
Eric travels out of town frequently for jobs as a male escort. He takes a woman out on a date in a public place and gets paid to give her a good time. When he is on these trips he is careful not to give out personal information that may reveal where he lives. One may never know if one of the customers is some obsessive psychopath. Therefore as a safety precaution, he always takes the women in a public place, even if it's a hotel.
Meanwhile at the home of another person by the name Craig, a woman that resembles the mysterious woman leaves out of his apartment while he lays unconscious on his bed. The woman then stands outside by the bus stop as a car pulls up.
She gets into the car and the car drives to the Tarentum Bridge and drops her off. The woman then walks toward the bridge as the car drives away. The woman walks along the sidewalk on the bridge. When there are no cars on the bridge she jumps off the bridge and dives into the water.
June 13, 2006
Eric wakes up in the morning and does his morning meditation. He is a practitioner of Wicca and he recently joined a secret society of Sorcerers that he joined after being sponsored by his friend Dave whose brother Jared was dating Rona when he first met her. The secret society is called the Illuminati. The ancient Priest practiced sorcery. They were the Priest Kings that ruled in ancient times, such as Tibet, Egypt and Babylon.
Eric is learning about this secret society. Dave has been involved longer and is a member of the inner circle which he doesn't have excess to.
Under the Tarentum River, there is a secret underground city that resides within the river. It is a very small city for one family of Merfolk. A mermaid that chose the human name Jeanette which means God is Gracious and Gift from God, is swimming to her morning meditation spot. From the world that her people are from, they go before a large truncated pyramid that has the top triangle part with the eye in it levitating above the truncated pyramid by some type of magnetic.
They kneel around it and meditate on their inner Self which they call Atargatis. Since this pyramid is not here in this river, Jeanette has a miniature version that she attends to so that she can have a familiar environment that reminds her of her home world.
After she meditates, which gives her a feeling of inner peace, she swims to catch up with her family.
Have you heard from your sister at all?
Her mother Lada asks her in a different language.
Her mother isn't too fond of the human race. Lada sees them as stupid pathetic creatures and wonder why her other daughter chooses to live among them like a human.
No mom, I haven’t seen her in a few days,
says Jeanette.
Well she needs to stick with her own kind. She already has been involved in a couple of romantic relationships with a human. Why have a romantic relationship with a species that is just playthings and food? Humans exist only for a few reasons. That is to worship us as gods, to toy with and for food, nothing more,
says Jeanette's mother.
Humm, I wonder what it like is to be with a human. Is the sex any good?
Jeanette thinks to herself.
Eric is on his way to Dave's house so that they can go to an Illuminati group meeting. Dave decides to drive, so Eric left his car at home and walked to Dave's which is very close. The Illuminati meeting takes place in Pittsburgh at Pitt University.
So are you ready for the meeting?
ask Dave.
Yes. I'm just a little nervous, since this is my first meeting.
There is nothing to be nervous about.
says Dave.
Even though it has been three months since he joined this secret society, this is the first clutch that he attended
